So, I am playing as the Cubs. In almost ever game, it has Victor Caratini playing for either Anthony Rizzo or Willson Contreras. I don't want a lower overall starting over a higher overall. Is this normal?

Unfortunately yes. The CPU will constantly change your lineups regardless of how you set them. I've given up on that part of the mode.

Just curious what difficulty setting are you playing on? I did it on all star and veteran and they never put Caratini in for Rizzo or Willson on my games
