Worst teams you've used so far?

My son and I have done the following MTO's:
Angels
Twins
Nationals
Yankees
Dodgers
Padres
Pirates
AstrosCurrently working on the Cardinals and that Cards have to be the worst of the bunch so far, even worse than the Pirates or Padres were.
We play on AS but may need to drop down to veteran for the Cardinals. There just dont seem to be enough bats to do enough damage.
What about yall?

I play on VET is started out on AS but just takes to long.
I finished the
Cubs and Braves
Currently doing the Orioles and there pitching is terrible and I was able to make some good trades getting Alex Wood, Kyle Seager, Carlos Santana and Iglesis for a SS. -
I’ve done 18 MTO’s as it stands now, and the worst, by FAR, was the Pirates.
I had to restart 4 times to win the opening game to not start with a cold streak.
By some miracle, I was still in it at the all-star break, 2nd behind the Cubs at 7.5 games back. The ONLY reason I think I won the division and finally the World Series in the end was through trades. I picked up Didi Gregorious early in the season, then picked up JD Martinez, JT Realmuto and Joc Pederson and was able to call up James Taillon after the all-star break. Had it not been for that, I would have been hosed.

What level do you play on?

I've done the
Cubs
Yankees
and working on the Angels (they have almost no bullpen and they blew a huge lead in the division so I'm on the wild card game now)I play on veteran
-
I’ve done four complete runthroughs and they have all been with 3rd tier teams (AZ, White Sox, Angels, and Colorado). I’ll probably do Texas and then KC next. Not sure why the “Underdogs” batch of teams is so appealing to me, tbh.

I know you asked for worse but I am doing my first one an it's veteran an I only need the 40 for Ray's future prospect an honestly I'm 16 games up in first place...Im in August now an my lineup is killing it right now...I only got trade offers for 2 players one closer an one lf no one special but lf rakes an closer shuts it down most of the time... hopefully playoffs are the same way
-
i've done Braves, padres, Yankees and Rockies. my kid is working on gNats. I couldn't hit with the Yankees til after the AS break.
the Rockies were probably the worst out of those. Other than Blackmon and Story, I couldn't hit with the rest of them. Lots of lineouts.

Some on here said it, you get more points for exceeding expectations on Veteran than you get for meeting expectations on AS. I play on Veteran, I can do 1st half of season in 3 to 3.5 hours 2nd half in probably 1 hour more. Never failed to exceed expectations. I've done, Cincinnati, Texas, Angels, White Sox, Miami, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Kansas City. So none of the big teams really.

I’ve done
Cardinals
Padres
Yankees
Nationals
Rays
Athletics
Dodgers
AngelsAll of these on all star. Cardinals have a very weak lineup after the 5 spot. Athletics were somewhat difficult also. However, I’ve had no troubles. I had 140 wins with the dodgers.
-
I have done the yankees and angels, currently in the playoffs for the padres
-
Worst team I did it with was the Giants. The end of the season was rough because when you're close to playoff elimination they make you play the full game everytime its an elimination game.
-
This is such an easy choice for me.
Out of all the teams that I've finished or am still working on, the Pirates and the Royals have been the worst. It is so hard to put up runs with both of those teams when I need to. The Royals are probably a bit easier offensively but their bullpen is so bad, the opposite is true for the Pirates. I think I relied on Jorge Soler and Whit Merrfield for almost all my offense on Kansas City, and on Pittsburgh it was all Josh Bell.
That said, it is still fun to do these teams (especially after a few good trades) as most of the teams I've done have been incredibly easy like the White Sox, Athletics, Nationals, and even the Rays were much easier than expected.

Kansas City has been difficult for me as I haven't gotten many trade offers. Once I get a reliable bullpen arm and a good 1B, I think they'll be a lot easier though.
