Glitch where fielders won't move?

I can pitch, so my left stick is fine, but if a ball is put in play my fielders are completely unresponsive and won't move to field that ball. Even auto fielding won't do anything. What's causing this?

solved Had to hard reset the console. In case anyone in the future has this issue and is reading this, closing the app and putting the PS4 in standby didnt work. Had to fully shut down the console to resolve.
