How do you skip player lock moments, if possible?

You can’t skip the moments for guys that are on your team. But, I avoid the pitching ones by not trading for a starting pitcher or calling up a starting pitcher prospect. But, if my big league pitcher has a no hitter possibility theyn I have to do it.

So you get about 50 team affinity points on veteran? I might do the Rangers than. I want FOTF Joey Gallo

If you get the max at all star and end of the season. And, of course, win the World Series. If you do rangers, share how it is. That stadium has a lot going on it. Not sure if I could play al those home games there.

Do the stubs, XP and program stars for just playing equal about the same as if you were playing conquest or something? I actually think this might be my go-to mode for a while becuase I’m getting frustrated with showdown and moments.
-
I would guess so. But, you have to remember that you might only play an inning or two. So, you are not building up that xp like you might in other modes. Therefore, you’re not building up those stars. I might try to keep track of this in my next run.

I did the whole thing on Hall of Fame, but really took my time. I watched most of the cut scenes and tried to appreciate the different commentary and cut scenes in game. I twas also on Hall of Fame. So, it took quite a bit longer than my other runs. I ended up winning 121 games and swept the Phillies in the World Series. This was definitely the most fun I had in this mode.Trades: Britton to get another lefty in the pen, and Yelich (I was trying to get speed)

Total affinity: 75 + 21 (Extra 21 came because there was double affinity when the new stages dropped)Definitely my most enjoyable run, because I really tried to enjoy it. That is why it took so long. Came out on fire. I was 52-6 to start the season. I also delayed finishing the WS until the new stages of affinity came out, and ended up getting 42 points for playing one game. So, that was a nice surprise.

I did the whole thing on Veteran and my goal was to do it quickly. So, I avoided all player locks as pitcher if I could. The bullpen for Detroit is so bad, I had a hard time closing out games at first. Then I picked up Chapman and the Detroit closer got better. So, that helped. I played a total of 12 innings in extra innings in the whole run, mostly in the first two months, because the players were so low, and I have no patience on veteran. I swing at everything. I beat the Dodgers in the World Series.Trades: Conforto, Aroldis Chapman. I tried setting my sights high with guys like lindor and trout but no bite.

How long does one showdown take, with B attempt at all the challenges? Maybe 1.5 hours? Truing to weigh the difference between MTO and showdown.
So, showdown can last between 6-8 hours on veteran and you get 52 points. You’d have to do showdown 3 times to reach that much. So, that’s 4.5 hours or so. Significantly less but not by a crazy amount. You also have the benefit of guaranteed affinity points, as opposed to losing one of those showdown runs. You go 3/4 on showdown runs and you’re basically at the same time as a full MTO run.

If you feel confident in winning showdown, then that is by far the fastest. I haven’t really dedicated myself to trying showdown based on all the pots here. But, it sounds like MTO would be more time efficient for a lot of players. I also really like MTO.

I did regular season hall of fame. SDS changed affinity with the last patch so I got a lot more points after the all star break even though both were max. After losing the first playoff game, I dropped to all star because I didn’t want to have to play 3 full games if I lost the next one. I beat the braves in the World Series.Trades: Villar for prospect. I tried to go after some big names, but never really got great offers.

I tried my first 1 on VET and it seem to only take 4 hours for Reg Season, 3 hours for PO. When I tried on AS it took longer, I lost more games had to play more games and more games in extra innings. For time it is better just to play on Vet destroy the CPU and only do the reg season. I am just doing it for TA and for fun and I will continue to play on VET.
-
I finished off the Braves last night I started on Vet but after the first gate I only got 10 TA points so I played the rest on VET to Max out on TA. I hit well on VET but for some reason do not pitch that good.
My trades were insane, I got Max Champman , Yelich, Kluber, and a SS can not remember who that was. I am almost done with the Orioles reg season
Trade for Kyle Seager, Carlos Santana, Alex Wood, and Iglesis for a SS.

The extra innings add up. A few here a few there and all of a sudden you’ve played an extra hour. You also want to avoid player lock as a pitcher if possible by not calling one up or trading for one.

Yeah I figure that one out after the first go around, and trading for 1 take another 20-30 min. I will avoid that maybe depending on team I am using.
