GET A MONITOR!!

It just amazes me... my wife is getting sick of me talking about it!! Lol
And I'm just so happy, cuz I've always loved this game... but I ALWAYS stop playing in a month or two in because I felt I just cant compete online

This game is now 100% better in EVERY aspect!!! Online, and offline!! And I now love the grind of playing offline!! I no longer get pissed off at the CPU!! Yelling at the top of my lungs "the [censored] CPU cheats!!"
I have beaten ATLEAST 10 showdowns in the past 2 days, when before I could BARELY beat ONE!!
Online, I've won 4 out of the past 5 games and I've scored an average of 8 runs a game!!!
What is the advantage? Is it just clearer?

Little to no input lag. What you do on the controller translates quicker on a monitor.

Well.. for me, the biggest change is... to be able to see fastballs better. I can now hit 100mph fastballs. The screen is WAY clearer. The ONLY problem I have is playing on such a small screen and having to sit so close to it

It has to do the the response time I guess... something with processing the images on the screen faster. So u see the pitches clearer

Nice! I have been close to getting one for the last three weeks but waiting now to see if they can fix the game 1st. Am to the point where i'll probably buy one this week and hope that that fixes it lol. Thanks for the info. Good luck!

Ummmmmm showdowns have been dumbed down a ton for stage 2. Anyone can beat them now. EVEN ON A [censored] TUBE!!!!!!!!

I’m all for loving your monitor and maybe it’s making YOU play better, but it still doesn’t mean this broken game is fixed. That issue is solely with SDS.

I’ll second this. I’m not the greatest hitter by any means but I used to be abysmal on my TV. If you put anyone that throws over 95 it’d be impossible for me to catch up. Invested in an Asus monitor and the difference is night and day. It’s crisper and I feel like I have more time to make swinging decisions. Would 1,000% recommend if struggling.

Got an Asus Gaming Monitor today and the first game Online was night and day compared to my TV. I caught up to Newhousers Fastballs and took him deep a few times.
Also Showdown plays way better on a Monitor even i hate hitting on Veteran.. -
