Did pitch speeds increase?
-
Is it just me, or did pitch speeds increase? I was raking just a week or so ago, but in this event I’m really struggling to catch up to some of these pitches. Anyone else experiencing this?

Lots of things it could be.
Different mindset, less focus, etc.

You’re probably right. It doesn’t help that every SP in this event throws between 98-102 mph haha

No. The timing window is trash in this game

Some days you just don’t have it.
I know I play a lot better on weekends when I haven’t worked 12 hours before. Brain and eyes just get tired.

This. Even if things in the game are exactly the same, some days your reactions are just slower. Time of day can play a role as well.

Stop defending SDS with this human factor bs, we all play this game exactly the same every minute of every day for infinity, because we are robot automatons.
Fatigue, stress and eye strain are just SDS talking points.
It's plainly obvious that SDS spend all their time reading these posts and secretly adjusting the online sliders to generate more hate.

It’s actually this^

One of the best tips I read somewhere in these forums was to practice hitting on legend before jumping into online games. Just seems I read pitches better and react to those high fastballs better. Age is affecting my timing, but this works wonders for me.

Yes I have same issues. Seems like one day I can hit the fastball. Next day can’t touch it. It’s infuriating.

I think they did raise the pitch speeds, but like someone said above it's most likely the timing window that's causing this.
