Stats - Misnomer for player attributes. “Check out his stats, he’s got 115 vision!”
Glitch - Name incorrectly given to a good player. “Mike Trout is a glitch! Who knew a 95 OVR card could be so good?”
Cheat Code - Similar to glitch. Used when people are surprised that a player excels at something they are good at. “Joey Gallo is a cheat code...who could’ve seen a bunch of homers coming with that 100+ power?”
Good/Good - The only PCI placement outside of Perfect/Perfect that warrants a base hit.
Perfect/Perfect - Home run every time.
Moments - Exercises created to cause misery on a personal level. They are self aware and understand weaknesses.
Comeback Logic - Poor attempt to deflect responsibility for giving up a lead in the late innings.
Broken - The state of MLB The Show after a game in which a player swings at 85% of pitches in the dirt and loses to their opponent.
-
I gotta say, I think all of these are spot on.

Moments can't be self aware yet, if they were our reprogrammed termination machine would have come back in time already to save us.

Hmm...really makes ya think, eh? We’ve got no John Connor, so maybe we’re all just full of...

I do hate moments though, not sure why, just hate them.

They can be frustrating to be sure. I like the idea of it, but it feels like a game mode that keeps me from playing baseball games. I’d rather have stat grinds whether they’re cumulative or single game.

Absolutely, I was very disappointed by the removal of stat grinds, aired my disappointment about it a lot last year lol. It is what it is though, just make due, still doesn't keep me from hating them though lol.

Can you edit it to add a definition for ‘broken’?
Looking forward to your interpretation, this was a great post.

I was going to post the same thing. People use the word broken over and over and over. It's one of the most annoying things on this board. If they programmed it a certain way, it's not broken no matter how many people say it is.

This post is full of good/good broken cheat code glitch moments with perfect/perfect comeback logic

Billy - thinks all swings are created equally
ForumTroll - spends time talking about how fielding isn’t broken inside threads posted by Devs about a upcoming patch to fielding issues
Broken - battling through a 12 pitch at bat to achieve a perfect/perfect that goes no where only to be outdone by a 430 foot bomb on a pitch you completely missed and were late next batter
Good/good - The only PCI placement allowed after 4 perfect/perfects in to much succession
Personal Attacks - what you resort to when you can’t think of a witty one liner in defence of a game that just isn’t all that great
Peoples frustration - Your absolute favourite thing in the world. Actually maybe more of a strange obsession

I refuse to have a battle of wits against an unarmed person. Clean it up and try again because you just swung, and you just missed.

I respectfully disagree on "Glitch". Unless of course you're trying to say lads like Willie Calhoun and Mark Canha are on the level of the Mike Trouts of the world
don't forget Villar, though since he was last year too, I wouldn't call him a glitch any more, but now say underrated

Lemme guess, you used Calhoun and Canha in a showdown and you hit well with them? Not a glitch.
A glitch would be every time Terrance Gore makes contact it goes over the centerfield fence.

Haha hilarious good job.
I will say comeback logic is real, vs CPU at least. Do a showdown and skip to final 0-15, everything drops for a hit and the computer makes errors and manhandles lots of balls. As soon as you get within 3 or 4, even with the pitcher having no confidence left all of a sudden well hit balls are snagged and diving plays made. It's eye opening. And really not a bad way to attack showdowns just skip to the end because they let you catch up and kill the confidence meter in the process.
-
The Show - Randomness, out of player control. Examples - Hitting, Pitching, Fielding.

At least put forth a little effort...
