The fastest way is showdown. Whether it's better or not depends on skill.
-
Showdown, imo.
MTO takes a long, long time

MTO or Showdown? Which is a better way to grind for team Affinity ?
MTO is less of a risk. But showdown is faster and you get packs, as well as lots of stubs and XP during the showdown. Just be patient while hitting and you will be fine

depends on if you are good at the game. Showdown is a cheat mode that even top players can't get every time but technically it is faster than mto. MTO takes about 5.5 hours to complete on veteran difficulity but you are guaranteed 50 plus stars.

It does. And i hate it. But I'm going to give it a shot because it requires 2-3 successful showdowns to equal 1 MTO and i havent been able to beat a single divisional showdown in at least 20 tries.
I make 700s every year.

Uh just exchange cards. It's super easy.

I play 9 inning games and bunt to get out takes 20 min. I try for 3 games a hour With all same players gets 250 innings. While doing that I get the stat mission plus 5 then do the player exchanges 50,000 a couple times plus 10 each time, Plus 50 for the FOTF player. I repeat the 250 innings. AM I DUMB?

I’m pretty sure I played you in the event, or someone doing the same thing. We’re you grinding the cubs last event by chance?

You can finished a regular season without playoffs in about 3 to 4 hours. You can finish to the half way point in less time can get half the points and start over.

@roguedrizzt Haha I play so much I don't remember but I use weird line ups, to target rewards. I hear everyone talk about Showdown I just never mess with it and go in get Innings and then exchange because I know its a guarantee.
50,000 exchange can cost only 2600 but usually avg 3k exchange I buy 70-74s overall cheap so I dont waste stubs I just dont know if Im wasting time.

You get XP in MTO not as much, you also get stars for the inning program. I do not like paying the 1,000 in stubs and I have not been to good in the inning showdown. I was able to complete the 1st inning but that is the only showdown I have completed. I have only tried one of the Divisional ones. MTO is a lot less stressful and it is relaxing.

I might have to try that.

Is there a limit to how many MTOs you can do in total towards TA's? A buddy of mine said the cap is 5.

If you play on Vet only do regular season and max out you get 22 you really do not need to play it with the same team 5 times.
