Showdowns are screwy. I can do AL Central, NL Central and AL West, but the other 3 stomp my guts. Tried the NL west 2 times last night and couldn't get past Yates either time. Its entirely because I couldn't beat 2 of the 3 blue challenges, so my team wasnt good enough. I really hate them and hope they do make them easier, because it is frustrating. Like I said the other three I have beaten and and both Centrals more than once.

Doing showdown 3 times will get you 60 points for a team. I’d get the last 10 points from other objectives though.
Ooooo ok... i thought each voucher was for one team in that division... so you complet showdown once and you get 4 for each team... but that makes more sense... thank you!

If your 50% + successful at showdown then showdown by far.. breakdown
1.5 hrs =20 points (if you don’t skip)
Failure rate = 20 points every 3 hrs max (most likely less then 3 by far but we will call it 3)MTO= 62 points on HOF for 11 hrs average = 5.6 pts per hr
thank you for the breakdown!

You get 20 points for the 5 vouchers (4 each). You would need to do 3 showdowns if you don't do anything else like innings, collections, exchanges.
o ok... i didn't know you could use all 5 on one team... thank you!

AL West and AL Cental here for 4 and 5 completions but can't do [censored] in the NL West or NL Central. I can't beat Bumgarner innthe west and Yates is a struggle in the central. Frustrating for sure.

Just try to be selective, wait for your pitch. They do wear down and will pitch around the batters. Especially the 8 hole even if you pinch hot for your pitcher.

how does it take you 11 hours to play MTO? I can do two in that time. Play on Veteran, get your 52 points. Get a lead in your first half inning at bat, bunt the rest of the way. Turn off fielding and base running opportunities, player lock games take 5 minutes (unless its a pitcher).
Don't call up pitchers or trade for pitchers to avoid player lock pitcher games.
And, MTO gives you more stubs and XP, if you care about either of those.

That works for final boss, I have come to the conclusion that the final Bosses are easier than the others. My problem is getting there. Sure I could skip, but that's a huge deficit. If I can get to 8 I'm good, but 2 or 3 is too much. I [censored] near beat one starting at 4.
Just not enough outs to beat that 2nd boss on All Star most of the time and like I said I can't seem to beat 2 if the first 3 of NL west to have a good enough team to beat Yates the first boss.
Then again it maybe just me, I was playing MTO yesterday on Veteran and failed more times than I ever had. I am actually hitting worse now than I was a couple weeks ago.

It really depends on how well you do throughout the season and how many games it forces you to play. It took me 8 hours to get to the World series with the Cardinals. I have not played the WS yet but I assume it will take another hour or hour and a half if I sweep (15 to 20 minutes a game)

ive done 2 MTO and id say id average 5.5 hours of playtime, again this is on veteran as well. But still Showdown is the most efficient way, becuase you also get stubs and more importatnt packs along the way that you sell those players so you make additional stubs. But if you arent a showdown guy, MTO is a good grind.

I have trouble bouncing around from all the difficulty setting. Usually takes a game or two to lock back in.

Yes, pitch speed difference is dumb for this type of mode.
