Playoffs Ruin this Mode

I appreciate they let me play every game. However, The momentum meter means little to nothing in them. Just won first game of ALDS against Twins 7-0. Team was on fire. Next game starts in the 6th down 4-0....I lose and go completely cold. How dumb is that!? Also why start every game in early innings. The beauty of MTO is the speed through it. I always have loads of fun until it’s the playoffs then it slows down and is ruined by the random deficits

*Edit after going cold I start game three in Top of the 4th up 1-0....DUMB

To be fair, roughly half of the TA points come from the postseason, so it makes sense that the playoffs take roughly half the man hours of a complete MtO run.

The momentum meter effects how your players play in the simmed portion of the games.

So if you were red hot and started down 4-0, it would have been even worse were you cold. Same if you were cold and started up 1-0, you would have had a bigger lead if you were red hot.

Pretty straightforward really.

My last game I started in the 6th down 7-0 to the Yankees against Cole. After winning the first two games mind you. So yeah momentum means nada in the playoffs.
