ENOUGH WITH THE HIGH SINKERS

Dude, I know. But I legit feel gross every time I try and do it. Like, I've only done it a couple times but it just feels so....wrong. I just can't bring myself to do it. Maybe I should just start but it doesn't feel like a good way to win to me.

Then I thought once I hit 800 and started playing other CS players that it would stop. But it doesn't. Every time I face Kluber or Oswalt (which is about 90% of games) I'm stuck trying to hit a guy pinpointing a high sinker on the corners. And it's literally EVERY person doing it. I refuse to do it and I feel like I'm being put at a huge disadvantage simply because I refuse to be cheesy and unrealistic. A guy actually messaged me and said "maybe you'll make WS once you learn to hit the high sinker." How TF is that a message that can be sent in a "realistic" baseball game?

Good point. Good point. But maybe we can talk about how we've now got a game where "playing to win" means throwing an unrealistic pitch that nobody in the history of baseball has ever thrown on purpose.

It's a shady move, for sure. I don't throw high sinkers because I don't want to win like that. But you definitely have to learn to hit them if you want to compete at that level.

I'd legit rather face that garbage knuckleball than face a high sinker that not only still breaks late and sharp, but seems to get a velocity boost when it does break

Yes, every pitch we throw is down the middle to the top corner of the black, called for a ball, except when the other guy throws it.
On the down the middle top corner ball/strike, I place my PCI perfectly and get a good/OK. I then try to catch my own ball, but it bounces off my head.
This results in me buying 150K worth of packs and complaining that the pack odds only favor content creators....except when I pull a Trout, then I brag about it and call everyone else trolls.
