Everything wins vs buying
-
I haven't run in to any cheaters in the Event. It's been pretty straightforward and relatively easy (and I'm not that great). I say give it a shot.
-
I dont think its usually cheaters - but yeah, I think there's a small group of people in the world who are stupid good, and they all play Events a lot. Like, its the same 1500 dudes.
If you see a team wearing the fireman uniform - you're about to get hammered. Why is the fireman uniform guy always a pro?? Lol
-
@rubicante23_PSN blame sds for that. The sweat lords used to play BR and events were alot more chill.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN yeah I play them for the challenge since I’m only 70 rating off and kinda wanna try to hit 1000 but I’m saying that’s in ranked events 1000 is like a death sentence.
-
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I’m not really sure how high I could get. I’ll have to try at some point this year. I’ve made World Series, but never try beyond that point. I’ve beaten people in event games with 1000 icons, but a 3 inning game is different than ranked.
-
I just bought them. And if a previous post on here, that says SDS turned off the option to turn Cross Play off, is true; I will probably end up having to either buy, or go without, any card thats attainable via online play.
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN man this rly is a terrible change if true. It’s not are fault we don’t wanna play cheaters which Xbox is more notorious for. I can’t wait to hear the explanation on this one…
-
Was thinking of playing the Event to try and see if I can pull Jensen and Alcantara from their respective packs.
But with the odds; one can assume I'll get one of the TN cards.
So with that, and the prospect if people still using those cheats, can I assume it would ve more "cost effective" jusy buying them outright?
No it wouldn't be. Free chance versus wasting stubs yoi don't have to. Even if you run into a cheat, you only need to win 5 games. Plus most the cheating is going on in BR and Ranked. BR so they can go 10-0 with no skill and ranked to make themselves feel good about not being good lol.

@Rhyno1986_XBL ranked it’s so they can get there monthly 250k stub payout this weekend and a nice 6-0 immortal icon …

Yeah but they are still cheating lol. Know I've ran into a few both in 1v1 and 2v2 ranked. What with the pause then 3 perfects then can't hit water out of a boat. Then I score and am up by 2, then a pause and 4 perfects lol. I just laugh because it's costing them around $800 to let a program prove they suck lol. Yeah sure it hurts my "online" rating, but I have a wife and 2 sons. I play this game because I'm decent at it 820 rating usually and even with the [censored] and glitches I do enjoy most the game modes. People who have to cheat at a video game while not even gaining any monetary pay back is just freaking foolish. It'd be like paying someone to drive a car you own but you can't drive lol.

@Rhyno1986_XBL I’m in the same boat as u minus the wife and 2 sons I have a girlfriend I plan to make my wife and a life off this game (believe it or not) up Until last December was working 60 hours a week these no life’s rly make me mad. I’m playing a lot more then I’d like rn but I will never be a lowlife cheater I’ve made 930 rank legit can’t imagine letting a cpu play for u…

My highest was 899 last year, but yeah exactly I've played since 18 and worked at being able to make the 800's thats why I just laugh even when playing a cheater. It's like seriously? With some practice and basically just playing vs CPU in DD against the computer you can basically get use to HoF pretty easily.
-
@Rhyno1986_XBL yeah as I’m waiting still to get called back to work I’ve been playing a lot and may go on a 1000 push but I’m losing patience In this game. I think this weekend and my first legend weekend classic could be my breaking point I’m predicting 4-6 cheaters out of my 6 games…
-
I pulled four TN guys.

I just checked out of curiosity and my crossplay is still off. Was also able to toggle it back on and then off again.
-
I think it’s worth it.
Don't get me wrong, I was definitely shooting to complete missions etc for the rewards because those packs were actually good to me.
you might get 4 good players in a row, followed by 8 bad players.
Definitely not my experience. Was more like 9 good, and 3 bad. Now some were 100% suspect, but it is what it is.
So, why do people avoid Events like plague?
Because of WAAC types- the kind that pause every 5 seconds when you're pitching to try and create a desync, the script guys (who pause every time their inning to bat comes up- telltale sign they're likely turning the script on)
The numbers say a lot of people dont play Events
See above. I agree with what you're saying, it doesn't take much of a grind...but the bit of a grind you do need to do is...frustrating to say the least.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN agreed it’s not that events are hard there more of a patience tester for me. Sometimes it feels like this game couldn’t be any less enjoyable then I run into the 1min pause followed buy 8 perfect perfects. And that makes me never wanna pick up the controller again.
-
run into the 1min pause followed buy 8 perfect perfects.
That was my experience with this weekend's event. I just quit out of those games and let them have it, apparently they need the validation. 6 or so of my losses were definitely because of my own mistakes, admittedly
-
@Sarge1387_PSN yes and those losses I don’t mind if I lose a good game on a level playing field so be it I’ve never had a problem with that. It’s when the game is simple apples to oranges and the guy I’m playing obviously has some help that does it for me …

Are you reporting these people? Need to be.
Should we have too? No, SDS should be finding a way to ban anyone that has used a 3rd party device. I am pretty sure it can be done. The question is will SDS use the resources to take care of this issue.
