2nd Inning Showdown

Cannot for the life of me complete this second inning showdown. I swear I am not horrible at the game, I am decent. I just want these 70 inning stars. What advice if any do you guys have, in on like attempt 10. Pretty bad

Do you mind sharing your batting settings just for me to try? I was big on mlb the show back in the day but I stopped playing around mlb the show 12. This PCI thing gets the best of me

I use zone hitting with buttons. I’m too much of a control freak to allow the cpu to control my pci.
Camera is strikezone. The more zoomed in it is allows me to get a better view of what’s a strike or not. If I have trouble seeing the ball due to bad sun reflections I’ll switch to strikezone high.
I like the dots and diamonds for the pci. I turned the inner and outer circles off. Too much on the screen makes it hard to track the ball. I think that covers it all. Any other questions feel free to ask...

Definitely patience is the key on showdown. I started off the season totally raking, grinding and building a team offline. Then started playing online and something happened after the 1.06 update my timing sucked, drop 80 points suck. Switched camera angle from SZ3 to Fish Eye 2 to see more of the game but smaller strike zone. And switched from buttons to analog, has been super helpful on borderline pitches to check swing easier. I cannot beat the 1st or 2nd inning showdown to save my life. I wait til I have 2 strikes on me every at bat and I still lose. Lost my last one by 2 runs because the center fielder made this amazing diving catch. If he would of missed I would of won the game. I had david price at 139 pitches with no confidence or energy and he was painting corners like picasso.

Wait to get Price I wouldve never beat Feller.
