I tried but I still just can't bring myself to go through Diamond Quest
-
I started the Stan Musial Diamond Quest and won was successful on a few challenges and failed on a few challenges. I then looked at the % to get the Musial. I was going to have to be successful in 11 or 12 more just to get Veteran or All Star up to a 50% coin flip assuming all successes gave me 3 points added.
At that point I just exited and bought Musial on the market rather than spend an hour or so just for the chance to flip a coin to see if I got him (assuming I was successful in enough challenges to raise the % that high)

Haven't attempted that one yet, but I enjoy Diamond Quest. I used to skip doing them, but since showdowns count towards stats on hitters, I use it to finish stat missions

I like the concept in general, but I just won't play anything that means I could lose things I've already earned. (I'm assuming it still operates like last year where you lose any packs/cards you earned if you lose the stadium game or whatever)

I noticed Musial is going for 7k, was hoping you bought him
I rather annoying got the rare on one boss and the elite on the other....so i gotta do them both again

Its a terrible implementation of a roguelike. Every run feels identical. Peanuts aren't enough carry over between runs, I don't bother buying the boosts most of the time anyway
And the stadium games are tense for the wrong reason: I am terrified my internet will disconnect (which is very rare, but its happened during a stadium game before)
I'm baffled they kept it unchanged this year
