@Jay_Kimber_PSN Why are showdowns the worst mode?

Probably because he doesn't have the patience to do moments and he's easily frustrated.

I'd rather play Showdown than Diamond Quest any day.

    Same Here.

At least with showdown you know, if you are successful that you will get the reward. DQ is a crapshoot or even worse than that if you play at the lower difficulty levels.

If they made the card rewards guaranteed, I’d always play the mode at least once. Maybe make it only at Veteran difficulty if they want to make it somewhat a challenge. If you play All Star, you get maybe an extra Show Pack, Hall of Fame a Ballin Pack, Legend a Jumbo pack, Goat a Chase pack. You get the idea. Some kind of incentive for those that want to play higher difficulties. I’m just not a fan of the percentages they put in. Why play All Star over rookie for an extra 7% chance. They can still have failures or successes in the moments and showdowns give positive or negative perks, just remove the percentages.

I will not play dq unless I'm guaranteed a reward for winning

Don't need a reward simply for playing. But if I beat everything give me a reward. Not going to play anything for a "chance" offline.

I just hope they don't make certain cards obtainable from only doing Showdowns, I absolutely hate them.

I hate mode specific cards in general. Showdown, DQ, mini seasons (even though I enjoy those) and especially weekend classic.

I think its fine to have cards exclusive to modes for an inning or two, or have packs where you choose 1 out of x cards but you need to play x different modes to get them all.

I like the idea of the gold cards for people who excel in specific modes though, wouldnt mind seeing those rolled out elsewhere.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN no it's more because they are incredibly dull, they cost credits to participate in. and they are also the only mode in DD that provides 0 PXP for your squad.

They are a massive time sink to play through multiple rounds only to leave you completely screwed if you fail the penultimate one.

If you could atleast choose the order you attempted then in it wouldn't be as bad.

@Jay_Kimber_PSN I understand the PXP complaint, but I don’t see a problem with the rest.

I agree Showdown and Diamond Quest are awful. I only did showdowns if it looked easy or absolutely necessary for a program, and Diamond quest at first was interesting, but it’s a big waste of time for non-guaranteed rewards. Not to mention having to do MULTIPLE showdowns in Diamond quest. Just Moments and 3 inning games in DQ for a guaranteed reward might make it more appealing.

The only showdown I can complete is the beginners. I’ve tried some of the others. I’ve tried all of the “trick” methods posted by others on this site….to no avail. I usually only make it thru to the 2nd or 3rd pitcher. It’s very frustrating.

Showdown can go pack sand as far as I’m concerned. The fact that SDS puts cards in it you can get no where else is evil!! 😈

I never did finish “spring breakout” collection this year. Again, the mode is just plain unsatisfying and frustrating. IMO.

@capardo_XBL I understand the frustration with no sell cards being stuck behind certain modes, but they shouldn’t get rid of a mode just because below average players can’t complete it.
