Prospect fast tracking

Does anyone know if selecting a position of need increases odds to get a prospect to pop up as a call up at same position. Example when I put 2nd base as highest need then Kristian Campbell was the prospect that was presented to call up. In other runs it’s been Marcelo Mayer when I selected shortstop. Not sure if it’s correlated or just random

probably not...seems like setting any "needs" that you want in the mode doesn't make a difference. I targeted 4 players to acquire and didn't get a single offer/chance to trade for any of them...probably goes the same for prospect development...[censored]-shoot.
