I realized over this weekend I'm not good not great but just okay at this game. I have a really demanding (pays really good) job, I'm going to be taking over production director duties at my church at the first of the year meanwhile I'm revamping their CG (propresenter 7) laptop to bring them up to date on their lyric slides and motion backgrounds. Not to mention I'm a weightlifter and all the other life's responsibilities. In saying all this, I use this game as stress release to have fun to crack some perfect perfect homeruns. This game is becoming less and less of a stress release. Ranked online play is bad. My skill level (which isn't much) should never ever be paired with a HOF player or much less a WS player. I should be paired with similar level players. So to that point, bye bye PS subscription. Offline play, it's meh, okay at best, I guess. Once again, I just want to have fun with my God squad. I'm a player who doesn't have a lot of free time and I'm sure I'm not the only person who feels this way but it's really not fun being dotted on a 3-0, 2-0 or 3-1 count, or pitchers who couldn't hit the broad side of barn if their life depended on it more or less get the ball in the freaking strike zone, finally they decided to throw a pitch in a more or less hittable location and you time it up perfect perfect and it either gets popped up in the infield or goes foul, or when you hit the ball in the good timing window and it's just a can o' corn to an outfielder or when you finally have a perfect perfect that gets out of the infield and it actually stays between the foul lines it only dies a miserable death on the warning track with a maxed out Judge or similar card.....seriously?!? I know inevitably someone will say that just happens, I get that but it shouldn't happen as often as it does. Better yet, you have some games where your swing timing is early on fastballs and late on offspeed pitches but you replay in slow motion the timing is good, right on the ball. Typically, if your timing is off you should be late on fastballs and early on offspeed pitches which is easier to correct, but seemingly harder to correct in the reverse. I love this game but it really sucks for a super casual player who plays maybe 7-10 hours a week, if I'm lucky. I just feel like I waste my limited time and there is no reward which for me would be to have fun. I can careless about being good or great at this game, I just want to have fun with my God squad. I'm sure this post will get some hate or critical remarks from some people in here, cool, I got nothing but love y'all. But I would like to know if anyone shares the same sentiment as I do.

The issue with the replay saying your timing is otherwise is a bit weird. What the timing input tells you after you swing is your real timing. However, when you check the replay, it might say otherwise. This is simply an issue with the ball-to-bat physics in-game. The game isn't great this year, but I'm still having fun with it.

SDS has stated that bat-to-ball physics will be better next year, which hopefully means the game code is being addressed and not simply sliders being raised or lowered, which wouldn't actually fix anything. I'll definitely be waiting for the mid-season sale unless '26 is a meaningful step up. You can only play a PS4-patched game so many times.

IMO, (correct me if I'm wrong) the ball-to-bat physics in-game should be a foundational thing that should work, if not then the game is broke. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, I still play when I'm able to and sometimes it can be enjoyable other times it just plain out frustrating and that's when I hit the power button and move on with my life.

This is the only MLB sim and they still haven't got that right lmao. I mean god [censored], Tap Sports even figured that out before SDS, and they were a [censored] mobile game for crying out loud.

Rookie mode is unplayable it should be taken out as an option at this point. Veteran is my happy spot when I play but some games it gets ridiculous with the things in my op.

Don't get me started on Tap Sports. It's unbelievable that were able to figure anything out. The curveball in Walkoff Hero that could never be hit. That was the only mode I played. Cheating and hacking were rampant in that game. That's why I stopped playing it, it plain out became unplayable and became expensive especially when they decided to devalue the gold.

Pro Presenter doesn't take THAT long. I can usually build a whole show for our Kids Church about 40 minutes each Sunday.

    But congrats on the promotion!

    Thank you!

Last church I was with, I was the production director for one of their campuses, I was able to put builds in about 15 minutes drag and drop, change the arrangement and move on with my day. With this new church, confidence had to be redone, nothing was linked to anything, I'm starting with not much of a song bank, so each song needs to be built out which I use CCLI, needs to be reflowed, arranged according to multitracks and a motion background. With putting in the message in it takes about 45 minutes to an hour but I created some templates so as the song bank fills up, time doing builds will decrease.
