Do we have to complete every scenario to get the points towards the program? Or can we just complete the map?
-
Every scenario and complete the map

Can’t wait for the walkthrough for this one. C’mon streamers!

Well I guess I can chime in on this now that I finally got a chance to play, beat the 1st 4 AL East teams on All Star and HOF went into the Blue Jays game on legend and lost because Mike Trout Can't catch the [censored] ball so needless to say I restarted the Map turned it off and back to Pokémon I go. Maybe will try again either tomorrow or Monday or even next week depending on how I'm feeling
-
What was your strategy? Who do you attack first? Do you go right after a certain team or do you take up territories?
-
Conquest is very easy. Just follow the goals. The first game of the first set is All-star, next 3 games are hall of fame, 5th game is legend. After that I stole fans on hall of fame and then started on goal 2. Games have been on all-star. I think you only have to play 2 legend games this whole conquest. It's a grind, but actually much easier than it appears on the surface.
Plus all teams only have live series cards, no special cards at all even if those players have one. (Example- elly is the 85 live series card)

@Ezio-I7_XBL so after winning your 5th game vs AL East, you stole fans vs who & how many before doing the same vs NL East? Can you explain your strategy more please

You need to do al east and nl east on turn 1. So a total of 2 games on all star 6 games on hall of fame and 2 games on legend. If you lose 1 game of those 10 you fail and don’t get the program progress.
You also can’t play the legend games first so you can’t start with the hardest challenge. -
Love to know if there’s a strategy that you don’t have to play a game difficulty higher than HOF?

There isn't, at least it's only 2 legend games though

For some of us the two statements I bolded are directly contradictory to each other.

This program was designed for the elite players so they speak in their own terms. For the vast majority of the player base it comes across as extremely tone deaf.
I’m fine with the minority getting there quicker but the lack of options for the majority to attain the cards in a reasonable time frame is disappointing to say the least.

Diamond quest, weekend classic and extreme were all catered to the elite players while the average players were pretty much given the shaft this year plain and simple.

Yup. While casuals could get the DQ rewards, its not a fun mode for most people. Notice how once the draft map got added the DQ prices skyrocketed?

The problem, for me at least, is that you can’t play those legend games first. So I have to commit to winning the other 6 hall of fame games before I can attempt the legend games.
If the legend games were first, even back to back I’d be more inclined to give it more than a single attempt. -
If and when you get past the second legend game. All you need to do is steal fans on all star and you will just play all star for the remaining games. I was worried about how many I should steal but it worked out luckily.
Also helped looking at the live starting pitching rotation and going against the guy with the slowest stuff since the higher levels feel like it’s 2x speed.
Good luck grinding!
-
Do you have to steal fans?
-
I don’t know if you technically do. I was just paranoid after taking a couple tries to get past the second legend game and couldn’t find anything about it. Haven’t finished it yet but by turn 3 you can start to play on veteran with some rookie games sprinkled in.
That first mission was brutal though. Can’t imagine having 99 teams to go against. Live series was the only way that was possible for me
-
You don’t need to, but I guess it’s recommended
