I know it's EXTREME, but 27 nine inning games is wayyyyyyyy too much of a grind especially if there's going to potentially be a Conquest, Showdown and Diamond Quest as well.

Why would you quit the game, just don't do the mini season

Do showdown or conquest or moments or whatever else

Mini season is the easiest way to complete extreme. Otherwise you have to play showdown on GOAT against John Don and do all the Moments.

You are assuming the path will be like last year. What if there is no mini season?

@ref479ode_PSN I don't hate the idea. I think a repeatable mission like winning 10 games in a row on legend or Goat difficulty will work better.

There was always a team affinity mini season until there wasn’t. Just because something existed before doesn’t mean it will exist again.

Even if there is an extreme mini season there is no guarantee it will operate like prior years. What if it is only 1 time through instead of credit for every x wins?

And I hope there is one this year. I love mini seasons and the challenge of facing great teams will add to it. All I’m saying is don’t just assume because something once existed that it will again. We had team affinity mini seasons the last 2 years as well.

The only guarantee is moments showdown and diamond quest because they have told us those are coming.

    @Jeff7407_PSN
That's not the point. The point is NO ONE wants to play 34 FULL LENGTH 9 INNING GAMES ON LEGEND. I mean that would be a little much, yk

This I can agree with. 9 inning games would be too much.

No dam mini seasons really sds. Oh but wait let just force people to play Diamond Quest which is one big dice roll and one big showdown map. Like you couldn't think up something like OP said Or repeatable mission like hit 5 homerun in a row on legend or Goat. Win 10 games in a row on Goat. Hell you could of made extreme mini seasons can only be play on hall of fame and up. But nope

Only three cards in the main program (one of which already has a 99), no mini-season... and I can already tell after quickly attempting three of these that the RNG is gonna be bad lol (immediately had a good foul on my one Kershaw swing). Also, gotta stop having batters swing on these steal missions. I can't steal if they swing every time...

    Very weak program TBH.

EDIT - I guess you can't buy the Diamond Quest cards. [censored].

I disagree... The more ways people can play the better.

I was previously a mostly online guy and this year it's just not fun. No events and no br. Ranked is fine but I gotta be in the right mood because so many opponents are toxic, pausing, bunt dancing, disconnect in hrs, etc. It's just not fun so frequently plus the latency.

After 5 or 6 years im tired of conquest, especially simulating the board or whatever. Mini seasons 3 innjngs I don't really like.

Diamond quest, I don't like getting a random reward at the end that's not guaranteed. Not worth the run for me.

9 inning games on legend against the cpu with cards I've earned is the most fun way for me to play with the current state of the game. The problem is you can do this in play vs cpu and that's it. For the most part you get no rewards attached to that and it's easily the least efficient grind method.

At this stage of the year... I'm kind've over putting a bunch of postseason cards in the lineup to grind stats... Basically doing Topps now stat missions always. I kind've just want to play a 9 inning game, work counts, etc. I think the actual game is most fun in that scenario and I think I improve better that way.

FWIW, the Mason Miller moment doesn't have to be immaculate. Just needs 3Ks. I assumed it had to be done in 9 pitches but it doesn't.
