New DQ Restrictions Is A Dumb Idea

Get rid of this stupid team restrictions out of the DQ maps and remove goat all together as well for offline. Let's keep a game mode in the game for offline that every single player online wants no part of. Cool. Makes sense. Guess the B intern team is in charge of that. I want to use my best team for the cards I've grinded for. Not be forced to use some card like a Don Baylor or whoever else that has no interest to me. 2026 will prob be an even worse game.
Then you are forced to use cards you either don't have and have to go buy on the marketplace to even have a chance at the new DQ maps. Yeah sure you can play lower and MAYBE get a chance at them either if all the stars are aligned for you or you replay the map 50 times which many people dont have time for. Then they are making the % chances lower and lower every time a new map drops as well.
I love this game and want it to do well on top of 900+ hrs I put time into each and every single year. I have hardly touched rank in the last couple year, but can easily make world series and have gone 10-0 multiple times this year. It is just absolutely zero fun to sit here in my pc chair and soak my underwear like Jim Carrey in Ace Venture 2: When Nature Calls coming out of a Rhino's [censored] to warping sinkers and slider shrinkage that still hasn't been addressed. But hey at least the ray tracing is awesome this year!

I thought DQ was for the online players that wanted their skill to matter?
I have no idea who it was for. All or nothing is trash game design (especially considering how many struggle with disconnects) that only caters to a small minority of competitive gamers. Showdowns haven't been popular. Moments get a mixed reaction. So why make a mode that is those three things at once, with a healthy dose of RNG.
The mode is just full of ways to make people feel bad. I'm not even onboard the 'its fine if some people like it' train, I see what 2K26 has done with breakout (which was [censored] in 25) and it absolutely blows DQ away. Thats how a board game type mode should be done.

@Teak2112_MLBTS this is exactly how I feel about DQ. I’ve played it 4 times. The Easter egg one (twice - once for each egg) and the 20th Anniversary one to get judge/soto.
Thought: hey, this isn’t too bad. I’ll try another. Worked my way thru the grid and played a stadium on veteran. My reward?
No, not two BIAH packs, not the BIG rewards, but a single regular pack!
I mean, really? Ok, so I didn’t get the BIG rewards (I’m ok with that), but not two stupid BIAH packs? Again, really?
So, until they make the rewards better, I’m out on this mode. It’s definitely for the better players.

This entire post just screams “participation trophy”

Honestly, DQ isn't worth the hassle anymore...not that it really was to begin with. It's largely been a flop because the rewards aren't worth it

Wait, restrictions in DQ? Please explain.

The last 2 DQs that they released are team restricted, meaning only players from the teams that are listed
