3: MLB wont let it happen.

Idk why. If NHL has fights, why can’t MLB The Show? I get fighting is much more substantial in hockey than in baseball, but the MLB has to be second in terms of fights.
-
They had it and now they don’t because MLB said remove it. Only way to get tossed is to purposely hit someone.

@fubar2k7_PSN
Whoever gave the orders to remove fighting stinks. It was in MLB Slugfest not the Show. -

Shouldn’t the runner be hustling just by default? (I guess unless you’re using Manny Machado)
-
Let us do BP with our DD squad, inside of DD.
That’s also a very good addition, if they actually implement it.

Remember in MLB The Show 18 at the beginning of the game they would play the audio of a big moment from the previous season? As a Mets fan, I would love to hear Howie Rose calling Pete Alonso's homer while loading in. That would be a nice re-addition.

I don't really see how any of these thing would "improve gameplay". This is because if they just fixed and/or deleted bad animations you wouldn't need a hustle button. Fielding collisions on pop ups also not a needed thing since a pop up shouldn't be getting rewarded anyways. While charge the mound would be interesting strictly in an RTTS or franchise setting, online makes no sense for that. You can get your pitcher ejected if you throw at batters to often. And finally you can challenge close calls in franchise and you shouldn't have to challenge strike calls because you can set the umpire setting to perfect for offline and it is set to perfect for online (not that it works properly).
If you really want to add gameplay improvements, just make the game play as advertised. Hitting is an inconsistent random rng mess this year. Perfect release pitches go wherever they want. "Fielding rating is important" expect that a common shield defender get better animations then diamond shield. You play people who dive across 6 lanes of traffic and then throw 99 speed out with a 50 arm. Then there is the newly acquired server disconnects from update 23. If SDS would just spend time and iron out these things people would be flocking to play, but when you hit a perfect and its a line out just to see your oppent get 3 straight 70mph bloopers to score a run or a sub 90 exit velo late swing HR it makes it just unbearable.
