@yankblan_PSN Why is the solution always to remove fun things rather than fix the problem? I can’t stand this mentality. I’m ok with disabling them for only play while this glitch is working, but just removing things because they aren’t working right is dumb and lazy.
-
People who suggest things like that think that just because they don't use the mode, nobody does, or that it's useless.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN I was being kinda smug and sarcastic, but it’s either they dedicate people to this (won’t happen), or they strip it down to studs and reduce people’s options which will p them off further. They should just take them off for competitive play and after that decide the way forward.
In my experience through the years with this game, whenever something is a massive undertaking once the game is in the middle of its lifecycle, they punt it to the following year.
They’re working on 26, and 25 only gets content and simple bug fixes.
-
@yankblan_PSN We don’t even get simple bug fixes. The attribute wheel has been broken all year and the game still freezes in the manage squad menu all the time.
-
again, I do understand your point...but how much further are they going to kick the can down the road, ya know?
That's why I feel my suggestion meets perfectly in the middle. If you don't want them in Ranked that's perfectly fine...but make them available for use in MS and games vs CPU, provided they met the "online eligible" criteria
-
@GoozeFn_PSN well, I didn’t define how small small was.
-
@Sarge1387_PSN It’s really quite simple: SC does not bring money or new players (or very few). DD players will continue to play with the other available stadiums. Some will be pissed/disappointed, but they will keep playing.
On the other hand, if they do little or nothing for SC (other than just being operational) and alienate the features’ biggest fans, they won’t lose a big portion of their fan base. Some may angrily quit for a year but a portion of those will be back because baseball video game.

Ban all accounts that have played on it. It is against TOS for sure. Do better SDS..Do you mean everyone that played on it offline and online or just online?

Custom stadium is loading yet again
any 1 else experiencing the same glitch

Remove Stadium Creator entirely. You’ll lose 5 players.
You grossly underestimate the amount of players who use the creator...and make actual usable/realistic stadiums. Comments like this one always come out every year when some moron creates a "cheat" stadium once or twice a year. Overreaction central.
All SDS needs to do is create a restriction that the stadium conforms to a certain minimum in order to be uploaded (wall height no less than 6 feet, with dims no less than 310 down the lines, and 395 to center).
I blocked that person's account a long time ago. But, there is no point to initiating discussion with someone who thinks only five customers use Stadium Creator. No rational thinking person would think such a thing, so that person is trolling. So, just block his account and move on. Anyone who reads something that foolish and lets it effect his outlook is likewise a lost soul.

And it will because SDS has done nothing to prevent it, nor prevent future such cheat stadiums from being created. SDS has to employ the recommendations we honest stadium designers provided to them four months ago. That is, make it impossible for a stadium to save when there is any prop in the field of play, and second link the existing code so that when ANY wall panel is moved that stadium is ineligible for online play.
That second part said, SDS could really do something nice for the customers and vice make the moving wall ineligibility all or nothing, instead make it so based upon minimum/maximum wall distances to home plate. If SDS doesn't want to recode the dugouts so that the lower pit and player location point are attached to the dugout prop, then allow all the wall panels outboard the dugouts to be moveable.
