Sosa Program Is BS

I wish they would make the Sosa card an option for the latest collection

The card rakes and is very easy to get. Currently at 96 points waiting for the last mission tomorrow
Whoever you are, please give Tyler his account back. Thank you

Nobody is “forcing” you to play the program. I’m not a good hitter. .230 avg in Ranked, I don’t think I’ve been matched up with anyone with a lower avg than me in months. And I’m knocking out these moments pretty easily. Some take maybe 6-7 minutes if I’m in a slump, but if you’re not good enough to do these simple moments, the game doesn’t owe you anything. If you’re so bad that you can handle this program, you wouldn’t be able to hit with Sosa on your team anyway so who cares.

The amount of complaining about this Sosa program is crazy.
I am a strictly offline player. Usually grind on Rookie/Veteran and will occasionally dabble in the higher difficulties when necessary in modes like Conquest and DQ. My point is, I am not that skilled at this game, but still completed the Sosa program with relative ease. Did some of these Moments take a few extra attempts? Absolutely, but they were all extremely doable.
People making it seem like this is some kind of alternate Extreme program. The game has its issues and SDS is far from perfect, but anyone bashing them over this particular content is going to be impossible to please.

People are pissed off at them for the 8 total bases moments, those are the ones that people who are having problems with including me, don't bother saying directional hitting because that did nothing for me except hitting ground balls
-
I’m sure you were doing this, but just in case. When using directional on these moments, make sure you put your stick so it’s trying to pull the ball up and toward left field. If you just leave it, you’ll get a lot of groundouts or pop-ups. It’s not a magical fix and sometimes doesn’t work, but I’ve found when I just can’t get the HR with zone, switching to directional sometimes works out better, not always, but sometimes.

@SavageSteve74_PSN yeah I was doing that but still hit ground balls

Don't press up until he starts his delivery, Everytime in all of these moments (other programs too) if I held up the entire time I got tons of dirt b alls and sliders sailing wide, waited till after started to throw and I got (some)pitches in the zone to (possibly)hit.
Chris Sanchez was the absolute worst with the sinker/change -
Dang.
They censored 'bawls?'
This is a base, ahem! game, right? -

This is crazy with all the censored words now

I like it, I hope they do a program like this every month, it’s a free card, rewards and easy if you keep up. It’s something to do every other day.

These people would be FREAKING if they played when SDS had the Daily Moments and cards were attached.

honestly, I've done most of the Sosa program and struggled with the moments. Most specifically the 8 total bases. the Sosa card has great power and contact, but he isn't very fast 62 speed is tough to get doubles with and the Phillies having decent arms in the outfield. I know I'm not good at the game, but I have never struggled this much with moments, at this point I'm just frustrated. I would like an alternative route to complete the program. That being said I'm very frustrated after getting multiple perfect perfects and getting singles or out on them. I do think they need to work on fine tuning the gameplay it happens a bit too often for my taste. Game is still good. Just venting.

Marsh,Rojas, abreu are the outfielders in the philly moments, slowest is 75+ speed ,in that small ballpark with that speed in the OF doubles aren't feasible, multiple doubles would be next to impossible, you complete those by hitting 2 home runs.
Directional, press up after the pitcher starts the pitch and be patient for a strike not on the edges -

Thankfully daily moments are gone and so are the ‘moments’ from when they first introduced them when you had to do things like pitch a perfect game with Anibal Sanchez.
The main issue is the 8 TB on the Sosa program. I thought they got rid of these. The daily’s were chock full of ‘em
-
2 is chock full? Ok then

To all the people struggling with the eight total bases missions. It helps if you just hit two homers right away.

@sbchamps17_NSW honestly, and i mean absolutely no disrespect, the switch is the devil when it comes to this game. yes i use it, but i cannot do moments for the life of me on it, the visual lag is awful. I do my moments on my xbox. i only do stat stuff on the switch. I now have a switch 2 and play at lunch, or when i'm out of town for work and its better but still pretty awful. There is nothing wrong with playing on a switch, the issue is the game as i see it isnt really made to be competitive on the switch.
