I really don't understand how people are having trouble hitting homeruns with this card. Idk maybe I'm just lucky but as long as the power is above 80 I love HR moments. They are some of the fastest ones to do.

Most of these moments have been done within 2 at-bats, multiple after one pitch.

@capardo_XBL I see your point because with the NBL moments when this game first came out the golds in some moments had diamond attributes but when you completed that story all you recieved was the gold card.

@VENOM1120_PSN I suspect this is because the "card" you were using in the moments is the eventual 99 version of those guys that will be released later down the line.

the one against Christopher Sanchez is imposse, tried it over and over for like 200 times. best I got was 7 total bases. SDS needs to change this program somehow, or make it a lot easier

Using directional? If you are, don't press up until after he starts his delivery, I had about 15 attempts at this,and I was being pitches counter to what I was doing,if I held up I got dirt [censored] or busted in,if I held up and pull i got low and away.
I didn't hold a direction until he started to throw and I got pitches on the plate to hit,still was pitching around me but did get some and I got it on my 2nd attempt. -

Sammy’s numbers get a nice upgrade with the Tier 3 boost from the Alfonso Soriano captain card.
100 Contact vs R (gets +15 goes up to 115)
92 Contact vs L (gets +15 & goes up to 107)
125 Power vs R
102 Power vs L
101 Batting Clutch (gets +15 & goes up to 116)… and even better if you parallel him.

@Teak2112_MLBTS its not different whatsoever. They've done this before multiple times when they had the retro lightning cards for the first time a few years ago, and it failed terribly. Is like they have amnesia

60 Plate Vision (gets +15 & goes up to 75)
71 Fielding (gets +10 & goes up to 81)… IMO, the Soriano card is a better boost.

They will probably add one more stat mission (ex. 15 XBH w/ RF or something) along with the final HR moment.
I've really liked the program. It isn't really anything new, but just the historical structure makes it feel different and refreshing. Sammy has the kind of swing where once you get the timing down it becomes easy to square up some bombs.
Also, this card is completely FREE. A 95 overall card at this stage - and a popular name as well - that costs absolutely nothing aside from doing several moments and a little grinding where every other Retro Lightning card has been locked behind an expensive collection. Not really sure what more people could want from SDS here.

The path to unlock him even contains a bunch of XP drops with some good packs.
