Hitting engine not benefiting good inputs.. Needs fixing.

@The_Joneser_PSN This year’s game does seem to be less of a HR derby. I have noticed some times, particularly with Beltran, that seem like good input with relatively weak results. I don’t know. Maybe pitching input matters more this year.

@The_Joneser_PSN you won't be saying that when you play a game with 8 bloopers hit against you. And every solid contact you make results in an out.
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL, yes, I will. Those are called singles, and they happen.
As to the good contact outs, if that’s not another gross exaggeration, I’d quote Catfish Hunter: “the sun don’t shine on the same dog’s [censored] all the time.”

The same answer to anyone saying their opponent only gets lucky bloop hits: stop spamming FB and SNK high and in constantly. If that’s your game, I’m going to sit there and contact swing you to death until you try something else.

Ain't nothing wrong with hitting lawn darts or dying quails!

This.
If you are giving up a lot of bloops you are either fooling them with speed changes and they are popping it up or you are jamming them. Have faster infielders and they'll catch a lot of them. -
@The_Joneser_PSN I agree. Good pitching feels like it gets rewarded this year. Well placed perfect pitches are probably what most of the complaining babies are experiencing.
-
Gameplay is so bad this year it’s actually pathetic.

My buddy and I see that in coop all the time...we just buckle down a pitch situationally at that point. For example, say Elly gets on...well I'm not even gonna think about holding him because he's almost a guaranteed stolen base, so I focus on the batter. Strike him out. Next guy up, bust his hands in, broken bat flare to right. Two on...1 out...pitch exclusively down in the zone/below the zone- 95% of the time they'll roll right into a double play. Bloop hits are only a problem if you can't pitch/don't know how to pitch with runners on. I'm not accusing you of being that way, I'm just saying

@Sarge1387_PSN I understand that and exactly what you stated. Thats not my main iissue. its not getting rewarded this year for very good input is more my issue. And im not expecting to be rewarded for all good input to be a hit. But come on. Its insane this year. The game is givng us nothing. Money grab this year. Make everything harder. Etc..When the entire game is a grind I want my good input to count at least more than it has been.. I care more about that than winning games. Gameplay is an issue in general this year. Especially from the plate. I shouldn't have to majorly adjust my game, during games that are taking away from me and giving my oppenent everything. The game play is extremely inconsistent. Thats not a good thing.

I just had 50 foul balls in a game. And then everything hit fair was right at someone.. kontrol freeks is ruinin the game. No 1 uses just skill anymore and this game refuses to call anything on the white line a strike. It makes no sense
Control freaks don't control fould balls. That's game rng.
