How on earth...

Yesterday, playing The Show 2025, something I never saw happened.
With runners at frist and second bases, I command a double steal because I want to bunt with the hitter (Gordon, from KC).
To my biggest surprise, Gordon BUNT a LINE DRIVE to the third baseman, who tagged one of my runner, than throw to first for the triple play. A triple play on a bunt?
I admit, it was my mistake to start my runners early. But in all of my baseball playing life, I have never see a BUNT turning into a LINE DRIVE to the third baseman.
For most of the last 12 hours, I tried to understand the physic behind it. I still can't.
How on earth can a hitter NOT swinging the bat, can push the ball, in the air, 90 feet further?

@GoozeFn_PSN Thanks for the link! But I can tell you that the 3rd baseman was standing as his usual spot and he did not have to dive to catch the ball!

@pacadie09_MLBTS It’s probably a little unrealistic, but lots of things are in this game. The amount of comebackers pitchers field for outs comes to mind.
