Just to reiterate the stupidity of buying packs

In the 150 Show packs I just opened, I got 1 diamond...a Corbin Burnes Threads card.
Yes, the 3 Chase packs players totaled about 25k in the 3 guaranteed diamonds, but for 225k, that's a little light in the loafers.
Before you start, yes, I understand odds, etc. But 1 in 150 on 1:50 odds is still pretty bad. Especially when its a 16k card. If you don't have money to flush down the toilet, there's a good chance it's soon to be on its way to the sewage treatment facility.

Packs have always been bad , but there is zero RNG protection for a person who doesn’t purchase bundles. I personally save my Stubbs and use them on players for different sets , but that’s tied to pack RNG. If I don’t get valuable items I don’t have Stubbs to spend.
I’ve hit a wall , and yeah I know I can go play the same diamond quest until my thumbs bleed but for me that isn’t enjoyable. It’s a repeat experience every time.
Over the past 250+ regular TS packs I’ve pulled a LS Michael Harris , 1 Chase pack ( Trea Turner ) I’ve yet to see a diamond all year from a ballin in a gold pack , and headliners are almost always silvers with the occasional diamond jersey.
Too much progress is hidden behind the packs , so I completely understand the guys who mostly play online needing to take the gamble. For me I play offline mostly , I’ve hit a wall. I would be willing to bet I’m currently 5-600k Stubbs needed to even consider the Rolen collection that dropped today as I’ve not even completed half the eggs , and I’m still 2 cards from NL Donaldson. One being an 80k card and the other being a boss pack card where I will HAVE to pick a card I don’t want to throw into a collection.
I’m not motivated to do any of it. I’ll likely bow out for the year and hold off on future preorders as to gauge if things change for the better

This is kinda how I’m feeling. When it doesn’t feel fun and rewarding plus the progress feels like it isn’t even close it’s extremely demotivating.

@TripleH-4481_PSN I just did the math , currently sitting about 1.1 million Stubbs away from the Scott Rolen. That’s with having completed every single piece of offline content besides what dropped today.
Between cards I’m missing , and the ones in LS collections I’ve not finished that’s pretty daunting. I think if I want to play baseball I’ll go back to show 24.

You can get free packs anywhere and everywhere in this game. Buy players.

I don’t think it’s worth buying packs either. I’ve opened nearly 2,000 packs from grinding the game and haven’t seen a teal diamond or a chase pack.
