I will never play this mode again. I just wasted over an hour of my life. Beat all missions and the first stadium and lost 1-0 on AS difficulty in the bottom of the 4th! Like WTH? Just felt like it was inevitable. I know I suck but AS is not challenging. I hate this game sometimes.

Just played it twice for the egg hunt. Got 5 hits both times in both of my runs, needed six, not doing this s third time.

Wow that sucks. If only they had lower difficulties making it nearly impossible to lose..

I get what you're trying to relay here. But I agree with the OP.
With the amount of RNG that can happen in a game; tying rewards to a mode that is 'Do or Die', and can take up to an hour of game play, only to come away with nothing, is disheartening.
I haven't touched this game since Wed. Thats because I HAD to play the Spring Breakout Showdown 4x in order to complete the collection for DeVries. I spent a total of 6 hours Tues and Wed to get those packs and in those 6 hours; I earned a total of 1200XP.
Tying that much time, that doesn't give any XP or PXP, is not worth it.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN I've lost maybe 3-4 conquest games on AS in the last 4 years of this game. I get that it happens, but it just really makes me want to stop playing it entirely given the amount of time lost. It's tedious.

The other option is play the games on lower difficulty, and maybe get lucky with the cards, but guarantee the eggs, and just buy the two cards of the market. They're only going to go down in price.

Probably a result of inside edge but the royals were incredibly tough today,both in DQ and in the conquest, took me to extras in both, Kauffman is tough but I hit well there when wind is blowing out which it was both games, thinking it must have been inside edge.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN I'm fully of the belief the devs are just being jerks because they can. Requiring a showdown, period, was a horrible idea. Requiring the SAME showdown four times is pure evil. Releasing ANOTHER required showdown, that you have to do multiple times, a month later, despite all the negative feedback... yeah, the devs are just flipping us off now. There is absolutely no reason to make showdown only cards no sell. The same goes for conquest and mini-seasons, for that matter. They made such a big deal about "play how you want" and this year has EASILY been the least "play how you want" since '18. It's very much so been "play exactly what we want exactly when we want it".

@Cschauble_MLBTS I had the same on HOF … battled back being down 2 just to lose the lead in the 3rd. Went to extras to lose it there on a 2-out-walk-off … But other than you the experience was nice … We never had a „sweater against the CPU“ … I like it. Today I played it again, I did both stadiums on Rookie (since the percentages were 61,63,67,71) and got the eggs.
Other than that I got a few nice packs and pulled Trout. So … big W and I like the mode as it is … I will do that again, cause the rewards are big enough …And I say it here again. Some cards/modes are harder than others, sometimes you gotta grind … I like DQ a lot. We never had a Single-player-reward staying that expensive for that long. Big W

But there are no repercussions for losing in conquest, you just go back and play again. In a mode where everything you earned in the last hour can disappear with one swing of a cpu bat, its just easier to play on the lowest difficulty

I went in with exactly a 50% of chance of getting the cards on rookie and i got them both.

The last two maps I have cleared the map and entered the stadiums with a 60% chance at the epic rewards on Vet and gotten 3 of the 4. While my chances are lower I'm risk of walking away with nothing is also lower

If everything on the game were easy and doable on first try, where is the satisfaction, the sense of accomplishment. Sometimes a video game shoves your face in the dirt and you try again, and when you finally pass a hard challenge it feels good.
I love baseball. I chose to buy this game. I choose to keep playing this game. I have found different modes to get more satisfaction out of my purchase.
I still do the DD hamster wheel and I’m all caught up to this point, but DD is the least enjoyable mode on this game. -
