Ive seen the last two years everyone bitching about how innings were so much better than seasons.

Every season over the last two year had a drop with things to do: new TA, a refreshed miniseason, in most cases 3 fairly large conquest maps. there would also be typically a new card style. Season drops were exciting to log in and see everything

Now with innings, its just another friday. We have the pretty cool cornerstone stuff (which is keeping this from an F grade, along with the cool usage of Topps cards like that Griffey), an awful spotlight program (2023 Topps Now for the first week and a half: 16 cards, all free. 2025 we have I think 4 free 6 pack), a smallish conquest map, and no new miniseason. Ill give a pass on the card styles because we could have done without snapshot and OoP anyway and as I said above the Topps cards are cool to use.

The cards on the inning tracks are good names, but they seem understatted for their level. the rest of the track is pretty much Ozzie + dogshit.

While restricting sets was understandably something people complained about, I cant understand why people want this over the season drops of past 2 years.

And yes, I know weekend classic is a thing, but i am not 600+ so the rewards arent that exciting. And Im fine with that, but weekend classic isnt designed for me and the rewards arent worth the gamble that you may not even get them.

The first content drop of the game was great. The innings track had 3 good bosses. Miniseason with good cards. 3 nice conquest maps. cards all over the place in offline modes.

But now we get to inning 2 and nothing in offline modes again (ill give DQ a pass since they released that map, but conquest and MS cards should absolutely be a thing for every inning)

No motivation to play right now if this what this format is.

I am enjoying the format this year. SP Gibson is intriguing while Griffey Jr. and Kluber are the two cards that I am most looking forward to using (although Jr. is not really an upgrade from Threads Belli). While I wish the stats on some of these cards were a little higher (especially the defense for Ozzie and Griffey), the overall card attributes are relative to whatever else is available, so I do not mind the lower overall ratings. Using multiple LS cards into May is also refreshing. I agree that a better conquest map, along with another mini-season reward, would have been nice.

These low ratings kind of stink!! Lets go man!! I'm ready for some fire cards. Ive got 250k stubs and still nothing to spend it on. Lets go the low rated cards are fine at first. But it get lame. All the teams are somewhat identical. Drop some higher rated cards!! Lets goo!! Its what we all want!!

Straight up embarrassing today they could’ve at least made the 3 evolution cards available within the first 60xp of the path but zero programs in unacceptable
