CPU Throwing Excessive Amount of Balls

Anyone else playing against the CPU and getting thrown 95% balls and no strikes? I have played on all difficulties and the majority of the pitches are balls.

This was an issue...last year maybe? Or the year before I can't quite recall...but even in moments I rarely see a hittable strike.

I’m well over 100 walks vs cpu already (thank you milestones for keeping track), which is utterly insane (I usually try very hard not to walk vs cpu in random games)

Amount of balls vs strikes seems about the same as last year
The 0-2 HBP is also very much a thing still
It does seem like there are fewer pitches over the plate though, especially sinkers in the lower half that tend to stay right at the bottom of the zone now. But thats probably my imagination. -
This has been happening for years. Just yesterday I did a moment where I had to hit 1 HR, first pitch I got hit by the pitch. Try again. Next try the pitcher threw 4 straight balls. Challenge failed! It’s ridiculous but it’s nothing new.

Yes this, I've walked 20 times already and I'm not at all patient at the plate. I've also noticed counts will go to 3-0 on very wild pitches and then all of the sudden the CPU can hit all the edges of plate with piercision. Personally I just want to be able to hit the ball, I don't care if the ball goes to a fielder I just don't like my time beign wasted.

I'm getting a lot of strikes and hittable pitches,I also at this point have 16 walks which is almost my total from all of last year.
I'm liking that when the CPU decides at beginning to pitch around a guy they actually do it instead of changing strategy mid ab,or that if it misses on the first couple pitches it doesn't dot twice and then throw strike 3 -
@Sarge1387_PSN It was an issue at launch last year and was fixed but it was way worse last year than it is this year. But I have felt that the CPU is throwing significantly less strikes this year for sure. I'm not sure this is not intentional this year.

Best way I can describe CPU pitching is obnoxious. Again, i’m not asking for everything to be over the heart of the plate but the percentage of balls vs strikes, wild misses, hit batters, super dots, pitches directly overlapping each other, is all just super tedious and seemingly designed to slow down the grind. Gotta think there is a better middle ground to all this out there somewhere.
