NO TA PROGRESS - UNREAL
-
I’ve been playing March to October for 5 years now. Each year chipping away at the team affinity for every single team. I loved doing it as it’s always a unique experience with each team - however, my biggest motivator was seeing the TA progress go up as I did it. I loved being able to complete it this way, yet for some reason they completely overhauled it this year…
Why??? There was no downside to what was going on in previous years. It’s not even like you can game the system by quitting as after 3 you’re always prompted that you don’t get rewards anymore. I loved doing the game this year, but this will make me play ALOT less. I can’t believe we waited for updates with this mode and all we got was the same thing just less rewarding.
The MTO current program is absolutely horrible. You don’t even get rewarded well. Is this how they start phasing this mode out? I’m sure this is a big reason for the switch but I’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied they felt the need to remove TA progress from it.

They're making TA more of a grind which is what people wanted because they go through it too fast then complain that they have nothing left to do
-
Psh. I feel like most people didn’t even touch MTO anyways. At least make it somewhat related to TA. I get it - but I definitely won’t be playing as much this year because of it
-
Where is The MtO program? Can’t find it; do you have to finish the introductory game to see it?
-
It's under the my legacy program

The genius at SDS who decided "lets only award a few basic packs for playing MtO" needs to be fired and blackballed from the entire gaming industry. Absolutely the worst decision in the history of this franchise (ok maybe 2nd to "moments").

This is a legit argument. However instead of removing MtO completely out of the equation just restructure the points awarded. MtO was already a pretty inefficient way to get TA points anyways because of the time involved to complete, but some of us preferred that over some stupid HR moment with some guy swinging a wet noodle bat. The least fun thing to do in any MLB the Show game is to keep pressing "retry" over and over because your perfect/perfect swing died at the warning track. At least they fixed button being greyed out (to retry) while the animation goes on and on of the Center Fielder checking his glove for scratches, pan over to the pitcher picking his nose, the announcers lamely going "and cauuuught!".
