Diamond Quest could really use some improvements

I think its fair at this point to say the reaction to DQ is mixed, which is probably to be expected. I don't dislike it overall, but Id rather play conquest or mini seasons

Modes like this typically involve player choice. DQ is missing that, its all just random squares. No choice of mystery square vs event square

How many people complete moments on the first try? I know I certainly dont, and that carries into DQ. So much of the DQ experience is failure right now. Failure to beat the mission. Failure to beat the mini boss. Failure to get the card you want.

Just make the base chances go up by 10% each run that doesnt get that tier. That way people can treat it as a grind and not a slot machine

And for those runs where we do get a lot of missions done, can we get a bulk pack opening for the bronze cards? Please?

These are all good points, @Teak2112_MLBTS, and I'll add a bit to #5.
Sometime in the past couple of years (I think it began with Kaiju, but I'm not sure), they began adding "Mario Brother" game sounds. The clips were so short that all it did was cause me to cringe for a second or two.
Now, they have added the graphics to match with DQ, and they're ugly. Forget Mario Brothers or Donkey Kong—those graphics are better—this is more like Pac-Man graphics but worse.

I'm fine with giving the sweats a guarantee and the rest of us a chance, but I do feel that chance should increase so it can eventually be a guarantee

And live series packs from the stadiums, but if the rate goes up then you didnt waste your time
Basically my proposal of a 10% rate increase would guarantee you the top card in 10 games, plus the time it takes to beeline to the stadium. On average you would be getting the card by the 5th run or so. the people that can handle legend or goat can take their time and fill the board to get their 100% chance on the first go.

Every pitcher in this game has the ability to perfectly dot the plate, I don't mind diamond pitchers doing it but commons and bronzes do it way to much.

It's just showdown, with extra steps, with an occasional actual game thrown in, but with non-guaranteed rewards. I really can't remotely understand why so many people seem to like it. I'm playing a baseball game to play games of baseball, not showdowns and moments. It's literally all the worst parts of the game combined in one mode.

This is exactly why I’m staying away from it for now. I got the cards I needed for Roki and I don’t see the value in the bronze /silvers even if the occasional gold gets pulled.

I hate DQ, for most of the above reasons. The slot machine really resonates. I don't want to grind this thing (while not getting PxP or mission progress) to then not even get the card. I want those pipeline cards but at this point I'm thinking it just a waste of time and I just won't finish the collection

@trfatboy22_PSN you get stats missions progress (no PXP missions) from the games and mini-bosses. Not from Moments.

I definitely agree with the idea of chances going up after each run. SDS touted this as a rogue-like mode, and in most rogue-like games, you become stronger each time you do a run so that you can eventually win.

To expand on more choice:
Its fine for some squares to force a moment or mini boss on us, but I think having a choice between two or three options for at least some of the square is better. A lot of people would rather play a 3 inning game than a moment, so give that choice sometimes (I can understand not forcing more games on people as some may prefer DQ because there are fewer games). -
I enjoyed diamond quest fine but I feel like there is no guarantee that my time will be rewarded so I'm not really doing it...i feel confident I'll beat all showdowns and get the breakout pack at the end.
I can do quest and maybe get this or they card at the end (maybe) or I can buy card off the market for cheap once it's been out a while.
I've I'm playing the online programs, player programs, conquest, mini seasons, etc I'm knocking out alot of things at once but also guaranteed to get pxp, xp, stubs, packs, etc.
I want to keep progressing along the xp path in an efficient way
