When you game the system to rush through content you have to expect an equal reaction to slow down the progress.
New year , new game but same fan boy mentality glad to see nothing changes

They have capped elevations at 3000 and no more 270 ft walls.
Just another "screw you" to us offline grinders. This will make stats harder to get which means less XP which means less rewards and stubs.
It could have been very easy for them to say "not eligible for online play" for these stadiums but allowed them offline.
It is not less xp and less rewards nor less stubs… that is simply wrong in the first place.
If you people could create 120 feet stadiums, you would probably do it
… Why not play at Coors?

@blitz77tw_PSN no fanboyism here; it’s in the spirit of fairness and to keep a balance. If it wasn’t an offline game they probably wouldn’t bother.
-
I have no problem nerfing it for competitive play but to also affect the offline grinds too
No -- that is not right but whatever i am done -- I will try and find the fun but unless something radical is done this was prolly my last SDS game for awhile and I am not even blaming them. I talked myself into believing they were going to change / get better but they have not it's gotten bad just in different ways.
They have killed farming for packs via Mini seasons and conquest ( even if that method sucked - repeatable map ) they nerfed prices on selling certain things like logo's etc when not needed. They are funneling players into the stub shop or to no life the game. Maybe I am wrong maybe this game is just not for me anymore maybe some of both but SDS -- hope you proud of what you have turned this game into cause it's kind of a joke.
Honestly if I could get a 1/2 refund of this game from the 100 I bought it for right now I would and NEVER look back but 99% sure that is not even possible at this point.

So by explaining why something has changed is now considered fan boy??
Maybe look closely at my past post and see I was very critical of SDS in 24. If your best argument to my point is to name call instead of offering a counter point it explains alot

Uh yeah it is. If you hit 10 HR a game and now you hit 5, obviously you're losing out on XP, Stubs, etc.
And playing just at Coors all year is going to get awfully boring.

You really answered your own question. You freely said you are using these Little League parks to hammer out homers to boost your team's achievements. DD is primarily a competition game mode between people. So, this just further reveals the logic behind my proposal -- that SDS take custom stadiums entirely out of DD game play.
In return for that, get rid of all these myriad artificial blocks on how stadiums can be created, which in most cases just prevent stadium designers from being able to accurately replicate historic and modern ballparks. I suspect this use of custom stadiums to "game the system" in DD game mode is behind the four year stymie in terms of things designers have asked for. SC was never intended to become a platform for a perceived pathway to "easy achievement" in DD.
I suspect this is why many executives on the game development staff actually wish SC had never been added to the game with MLB 21.
Custom stadiums should be used in offline versus CPU modes and in friendly online League games. They shouldn't be used in the competitive mode, which DD is, and that should include the limited offline DD modes played by your DD team.
Alternatively, SDS could divide DD into two parts -- offline and online, and require two completely different teams for each option. That way, custom stadiums could be used to achieve success in all the offline game modes, but you need a different team for online competition play, and that online team would never be allowed to play any games in custom stadiums.

You shouldn't attempt a logical discussion on the objective merits with someone who trolls his way around the forums. His cheap shot wasn't worthy of any considerate reply such as you provided. My recommendation to people who post drivel like he did to you is to simply block their accounts.

And hitting nukes at CostCo is not? Let‘s stay with the facts: Your critizizing that you are not allowed to exploit bad (exit velocity) stadiums to reach goals faster … in a sim orientated baseball game
Observing what SDS did … I get the impression that they do not like you to do that
…
I did my grinding at CostCo too … and it was boring af. So I like that I have to choose another way … Maybe I‘ll try out events, since they are more casually orientated besides Conquest/DQ.
I do also think that banning custom stadiums from online gameplay is a good way … because there are a lot of really good stadiums greated by some awesome people. That takes away a highly creative side of people.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL Nice I did not see his posts … looks like blocking works as intended

Exactly. They even said in one of the streams that 'Enough is enough with the Costco abuse'. I'm surprised that Blank Canvas is still an option.

It's technically not less XP. It just takes you longer to get what you used to get. Instead of doing it in one 9-inning game; it may take you two games.

I used Costco last year for a while, then only when I got tired of grinding a specific thing or wanted something quickly, then not at all. Hadn’t thought of it this year. I guess it’s an enjoy the trip rather than the destination type of thing.
-
I never even played at Costco. I played a combination of other favorable custom stadiums along with Coors.
So...yeah.
