I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this but I've had my game crash multiple times since early access launch. Mostly during ranked play or when doing pack openings.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Mine has crashed at least twice already that I can remember. Maybe it was 3. Either way...I have other games I've played for over a year that haven't crashed that much. You know what's worse than game crashes though? This game is literally frying my ps5. I've gotten 3 messages from my ps5 saying it was overheating and needed to shut off. That's never happened before on any other game. Releasing a unoptimized [censored] of a game is one thing....But releasing an unoptimized [censored] that is destroying people's property with it is whole other can of worms. I'm not a programming genius or software developer or anything like that but I know a little bit and I have a theory:

They are trying to make this game a one size fits all for all consoles and as a result we have ended up with a one size fits none instead. Leave the switch behind already or make it a completely seperate deal SDS! It's great that you guys want your game to work on the switch but it's not realistic....That hardware was obsolete 8 years ago when the switch was released. It's made for mario games not modern sports games...It's held the development of this game back for years now

Well get used to it, because the switch 2 comes out in June and their still going to make the game for that next year. Not everyone can afford a new ps5 or Xbox

@sbchamps17_NSW get used to it? no thanks...

Not everyone can afford a new playstation or xbox? I fail to see your point or logic here. Surely if you can afford a new switch you can afford a new console right? They are like the same price...

A new switch might make this game more playable but for how long is the question. You are always going to have a big hardware and thermal discrepancy with these handheld devices. You can only fit so much computing and graphics power and cooling into these little devices it's challenging enough with a console. That's why it's an entirely different market anyway...Sure there might be some people looking to play sports games on the go with the switch but a vast majority of the nintendo market is younger kids and people looking to play morevisually simplistic arcade style games. Not modern gen sports games. Eventually down the road that discrepancy gets so big you end up where we are at now. You need a dedicated team just to create a dumbed down version of the game wasting valuable development time and budget creating an inferior product to sell some copies in an off market. It's a lose lose...The devs are peeing into the wind and cutting off their nose to spite their face and the switch user is wasting 60 dollars that they could put towards a a switch 2 or a game thats actually suitable for that console.

If you ask me releasing "mlb the show 25" for the nintendo switch is disingenous at best to begin with anyway. How can you call it mlb the show 25 when it's stuck in 2018? Switch hardware been at it's limitations for years. But that's a whole other discussion. Like I said before if they want to make it playable on the switch that's great but make it a seperate entity like call of duty and other modern mobile games do.

I can't buy the new switch, I can barely afford the game. People think that everyone is rich and can afford brand new consoles but spoiler alert they really can't

@sbchamps17_NSW This might be confusing to your young mind...But if you can't afford a new console then the last thing you should do is waste 60$ on this nintendo switch game. Save your money and put it in the piggy bank. You'll thank me later.

Hell no, I saved my birthday money to buy this game when it comes out. Just because your rich and can afford everything that you want doesn't mean you can tell people what to do with their money

@sbchamps17_NSW I'm far from rich and I'm trying to give you honest advice. I've tried the show on nintendo switch...It's absolutely terrible. And not how the game was meant to be played. Trying to see and hit a pitch on that tiny little screen with those little nubs for joysticks. It feels and looks so un-responsive. I would much rather play a old baseball game on console than play this new game on the switch. Some games are great on the switch...Some games were even meant to be played on the switch. This isn't one of them.

@sbchamps17_NSW Sounds like you are a little close to the trees to see the forest. If all you play on is the switch you wouldn't know any better. It's not your fault...It's theirs. They shouldn't even offer this game on switch. and for 60$ is absurd.
