Pause time cut to 1:30.
-
Now when you hold R2 you can bring up different options to view pitches. Gonna be fun sitting there for 15 secs between pitches while people R2 spam you.

- Wish they cut it to 1 minute personally.
- I agree here. Hopefully you can only press once per at bat

Actually was disappointed they took out having to warm a pitcher up before his entering the game.
Certainly, I understand their choice as to why, in quickening up the game.
That said, if an opponent falls asleep at the wheel, and doesn’t say on top of an ineffective/tired pitcher, than that foe should be exposed to the drawbacks of either having to deal with that pitcher getting battered around until a new reliever is warm (usually two batter wait), or putting in a completely cold pitcher that won’t be as sharp as he would be warmed up.

I’m fine with 1:30 timer…Would prefer 3 minutes but that it doesn’t replenish. Sometimes these games go on for an hour. It’s nice to be able to go to the bathroom if you have to.

I was thinking the same, until I realized that it's just as unrealistic to start warming up my pitchers in the 1st inning...

@MarioMendoza935_XBL Fair point, and agree on that.
Maybe they shouldn’t allow anyone warming from either team until facing the first three batters of every game? (Means a need for each to complete this requirement before that team can warm a reliever)
Just looking for a solution that is fair, but still a need to pay attention/be strategic with the pen.

- I like it … I use my pause timer to view batters, warm-up pitchers, lineups … But that takes time and prolongs the game. If you are fair. Lots of people use the pause timer to troll you (especially after you get way ahead in the boxscore) … So I guess the tradeoff is pretty good, which means that I have to get faster in getting information (and sometimes go to the bathroom
)
- Maybe they get it done in a way not to delay the game …

All they appear to actually be doing in 25 is removing the option of warming relievers up when playing online (won’t appear in the menu as an option) so that people don’t unnecessarily pause to warm up relievers anymore since they removed the need to actually warm them up a few years ago. I don’t know why you think you currently need to warm them up. There currently isn’t a penalty for not planning ahead.

Agreed. It's also a bit more realistic. I've been caught leaving a pitcher in too long a couple of times. Sometimes you pay, sometimes you don't. But I was surprised this changed this. In the turn to adding things that make things more realistic, they took one small step backwards.
