On the game 3 days and new to this I have 100 pts in both 1ST and 2nd inning programs. Grind both or one at a time? Or forget 1 completely.

Only for missions or collections connected to that inning. Regular games will go to 2nd Inning.

It looks like you can grind the missions and collections. And I assume (hope I'm not wrong), you can also complete the 1st inning showdown and the 1st inning conquest, which are a lot of points.

Count up what is still available to you; hopefully you will be able to get to 300.

Yes you can get to 300 stars. I'm an offline player and i'm at 125 stars with 15 days left and I haven't touched the collections at all. If you do the daily missions, moments, and conquest that's already a good chunk of stars. Homerun derby still gives you 3 stars each time. Not to mention we probably still have more moments coming.
