One tiny conquest map and no new mini season for a TA drop is disappointing

Just play with the cards you want then and redo the original US map.
I got 60K for doing a 5 mission showdown and looking at the team specific missions I can earn 150K just for completing the Cardinals missions which would complete that entire division.
So two showdowns and completing the missions for 1 team in each division should allow you to be able to complete the entire TA and you can do it all playing the CPU.

I don't understand why there are so often responses that don't actually address the concern.
I did NOT say anything about the actual TA missions. I did NOT say anything about a lack of refresh for TA mini season.
I said there was extremely little in the way of new vs CPU content (conquest/ms) with this drop. Just one 6 team conquest.
How any single person can defend dropping the number of special mini seasons from 7 to 2 (possibly 3 next week) is pretty ridiculous.
Yes, they have showdowns like normal. Once I saw that it was a score 11 run mission for the first step I knew it wasnt for me, which is fine. Again, the TA will be easy enough to complete, I would just prefer not to rehash old content
To be fair, I have extra frustration because I dont enjoy the TA3 mini season because I very strongly dislike facing/using the OOP guys, but thats a me thing. I loved incognito, which most people seemed to dislike.
Ill just wait until next week when they should at least have a big conquest map for extreme and hopefully a miniseason.

The Team Affinity absolutely gives options for doing just that and it was that point that I was addressing. It might not be new things but there are plenty of ways for you to play vs CPU with the players you want to work on and progress Team Affinity.

The Team Affinity absolutely gives options for doing just that and it was that point that I was addressing. It might not be new things but there are plenty of ways for you to play vs CPU with the players you want to work on and progress Team Affinity.
Its just frustrating because the things I enjoy about the game have been wildly inconsistent this year but the stuff I dislike (showdown, online play) has been pretty consistent.
And I'm not suggesting they don't try new things, but the conquest map? Its only 6 teams, has terrible goal rewards, does not offer much in the way of conquest points, and isnt repeatable. If they had adjusted one of those 4 things, preferably 2, it wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue

Might not be TA in season 4. I’ve only been playing since ’22. No TA in ‘22, and in ’23 there was no TA in the program following the World Series. This TA might be the end of the line for this game. -

Yea I miss having conquests to fulfill missions as well. I don't care enough about the new cards to just play vs CPU for stats. they'll come eventually.
