Need a Luis Tiant tribute card
-
RIP Luis. Always fun to watch him pitch
-
Crazy, just went to the Sox final game and he was there for Joe Castiglione’s last call, sitting a few tows away from me. He looked pretty good (Luis and Joe both actually). He was a good man.

I was at Fenway as a very excited 11-year-old with my grandfather for game 1 of the 1975 WS. He pitched a complete game shutout (and went 1-3 with a run scored... and walked once).
I still remember getting to the game early to watch the Big Red Machine take batting practice. Bench, Rose, Griffey, Morgan, Foster... amazing.

I wish he was in the game, he would be fun to pitch with. RIP
-
He was. Don't have time to check now, but I want to say he was in the game up until 2020.
-
I used to replicate his wind up/delivery as a lefty playing softball growing up when they'd let me pitch 🤪
I never tried it in real baseball though, as I played 1B.
RIP, legend. -
A Tiant card would be most like a Cueto card.
With a screwball for sure…RIP El Tiante.
