Hurricane Helene

This Hurricane did catastrophic damage to the place in FL on the Gulf Coast that I go to every year with my family, destroyed the Pirate ship that we always see from our balcony and also destroyed many shops that we always go to and now the road that has it all on has 4-5 feet of sand so this should be interesting to see what it looks like when we go the end of June next year. The beach was already losing sand from previous storms so I'm definitely interested to see what it looks like now

Update- turns out the hurricane did catastrophic damage to the resort and is closed, they need new pool equipment because all of it was destroyed. The flooding around the resort ended up causing the 1st floor units to be damaged (luckily my family stays on the 5th floor). The pool and hot tub is filled with sand and the area around the pool is cracked. Hopefully my family and I will still be able to go at the end of June next year

Hope all is well. It's pretty crappy seeing what's going on and I'm not getting political on purpose but MLB, NFL, PGA, and other private orgs have stepped up greater than federal government. That's wild to see. MLB has done so much for those people and I've seen from my friends down there that football and baseball teams are legit doing work to help out.

It's crazy because this time share has been in my family for over 20 years and we just started going back in 2021 and have absolutely loved it and now to see the pictures of what it looks like now after we were just there in July is crazy
