Talk about grinding.

Maybe in S1 and S2, but this season feels very different. I think I only got to the wheel twice in S2, and I didn't even finish the season 1 program. But I'm already to maybe 150K on the season 3 progress. With the 60K head start, the double XP weekend, and XP being handed out all over the TA3 program, I suspect everyone who puts in even a little time here and there will be spinning the wheel like mad by the end of this season. And that will still leave plenty of grass-touching for everyone
(consensual grass touching, of course)
I play 1-2 maybe if I push it 3 hours a night or every other night since launch. Never seen a wheel spin.
I have a feeling 2-ish hours per night will get you several wheel spins in S3, man. If people have been able to grind out the entire program in the first 4 days, casuals like you and me can get there within 3 or 4 weeks with no problem. We're going to have a wheely good time with all those extra packs. Hey. That was a good joke. Don't judge me.

Ngl, I logged in to mess with my squad, got pissed I have to do this "fReSH" season [censored] again and just shut down my PS5. I'd rather wait until S4 and copious amounts of extra xp and I can use the guys I earned parallels on and I know I can hit with. I'm not going back to grinding with cards I hate and still getting my teeth shattered on curbs playing people with God squads that dont belong in my rank. It's not worth it to me right now anyways.
Good joke though. I appreciated it.

@AdeptOfMemory_PSN Well, if you’re only playing ranked, that’s not the most efficient way to get xp. If you’re not interested in playing offline, I’d start with the event because it’s the most time sensitive. Then battle royal and ranked last. Make sure you’re hitting all the missions and moving along the program paths to get all those chunks of xp. I rarely finish those programs completely because I don’t care about the extra pack. There’s a lot of xp hitting all the goals in mini seasons too if you play offline. I think the exchanges are worth it in team affinity progress to. Just buy a bunch of 74 cards for 25 each and it’s pretty inexpensive for the time you save.

That's the thing, man, I don't care. I don't care for other modes and you're likely right. I just don't care. I bought a baseball game to play with my real friends against other real people. I don't buy Call of Duty for the storylines and never have. I buy CoD for zombies and multiplayer like 90 percent of the playerbase. I play rocket League to play against other people with my friends. Not to do tutorials and custom games. I play Magic the Gathering to play against real people, not against a bot. I play Balders Gate to play a storyline. Imagine if Larion was like "well you gotta play multiplayer and all of these other different game modes if you wanna get rewards. The game isn't all about story." And it forces you into other
Again, you're very correct, I just don't have the time to play the game outside of the way I intended to play it. I ain't getting wheel spins, and that's fine. Just accepting it.

One hundred percent. Offline grinding is by far the most efficient way to gain XP. And the classic mini seasons got another reset, so there's new goals and XP rewards

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN
But if I only play against cpu how can I message them and tell them how bad they are at hitting when I'm running up the board? -
I am close to 280K … with the head-start-reward and playing the contest map. I will be on vacation until October 1 and I am not slightly worried that I will not get Hank

But if I only play against cpu how can I message them and tell them how bad they are at hitting when I'm running up the board?I don't know, but I do know there is 30K XP in classic mini seasons, 30K XP in TA 3 mini seasons, 35K XP in the TA 3 conquest map, 15K XP for completing each TA division, so 90K total, so 200K XP in rewards just from all of that offline content towards the 350K XP needed to get to the bonus "wheel spin"
All you have to do is play the game, and you can use any squad you want for most of it, I think the TA 3 conquest map is Set 3 restricted, maybe not?

Its not. I used all season 1 and season 2 cards for the conquest and got it done in 2 days.

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN Even if you don’t want to play offline, events, BR and ranked would probably get you there if you’re completing the other programs and team affinity along the way. You don’t have to play offline to hit the wheel this season. It just makes it easier.
-
I am at 357,000 xp. I have used Aaron in 40 at bats on hall of fame and I am hitting .450 and have 10 tanks. For comparison My best card ever is season one Posada who I am hitting .400 and have 65 tanks in 500 at bats. So get to Hank Aaron cause he is insane. Even Biggio I have 60 at bats and is hitting .400 and has 18 stolen bases

I'm fine with that but I have even worse of a time in BR. I feel like I draft well but get decimated first to game. "skill issue" that's fine too. I don't need to feel miserable playing something I shouldn't be miserable doing. Ranked is good late season. BR is good if you have skill and extreme patience or I prefer tolerance.
We've done comp together. You see why it's miserable but enjoyable-ish in friendly company. When I can use my squad that helped with my skill issue I'll play solo again or load the game up again, rather.
-
@AdeptOfMemory_PSN BR is filled with goons. I just don’t take it seriously. I’m not worried about winning. Just getting all the missions done and moving along the program for the xp and a bunch of cards. Similarly in the event, if I’m facing someone better than me, I just quit out and join another game. Co op is a lot of fun. It just has so many issues, especially 3 v 3. Ranked is the best, but there’s not much of a point in playing it until they release the update. I’m probably a bit above average. I’m 59-26 in solo. I usually stop ranked when I finish the program. At some point this year, I’m going to try to make World Series. Don’t think I’m quite good enough though.
-
@AdeptOfMemory_PSN Here is the thing with BR, you go in with the intent of getting the PXP for the program. If that is your goal, versus wining, you will have a much better time. Additionally, you WILL become better at the mode. This is my first year really playing online and I started playing the show in 21. I didn’t play online because I would get smoked every time I played a game.
This year, I changed my pitching, started thinking about plate approach, how to
Draft in BR, how to get the most value and best cards for my God Squad, etc. In one season I have improved to have gotten to Championship Series in ranked, [censored] near to World Series, and I just got to 8 wins in BR the other night, before losing 2 in a row.You can better at the different modes if you want to and most of it is mindset really.
