Season two ends with wimper

The final drop of season 2? A whole lot of nothin.
I will say that the last two months have been solid on content. SDS just makes a lot of odd choices. I realize it’s just a transition and next week we get a huge drop so it’s not a big deal. But it does make you wonder. Season 1 was lackluster until the final drop. Then season 2 they listened to feedback, accelerated the power creep and now in the final week it falls off a cliff like Wile E. Coyote. Why?

They probably got tired of the “ oh we have to grind to use a card for ____ days ??” Commentary when they could just save the effort for S3 when all that is over

But...they could have easily finished Season 2 with a program to get a fire CORE card. Simple. Problem solved.
So not letting SDS off the hook on this one.
-
They just gave us CORE Banks. Adding too many CORE 99's would make wild cards less important from a grind perspective. They are in a tough place given the small number of legends available to them.

I think they did. They just released Banks a few weeks early to give everyone time to earn him before the end.

I think at this point in the game folks are tired of the grind and want wildcards gone. A Core Program would of been a good idea even with Ernie just being released

I am fine with the content. Now, it is nobody I care about or desire but that is fine as they expire in a week anyway.
What I am actually surprised at is apparently there is not a Double XP weekend. I figured that they would do it just to help give a boost to those lingering behind. With the boost, I might have been motivated to keep playing beyond finishing the new program and conquest map as I am at 800K and might push for the first boss. Without double XP I don't want to try and grind 100K in the next week.
-
@Ericulous1_PSN First: The conquest-map is stoked with big packs … Second: If they release some banger S2-cards now (we already had a big Core) that would be waste … keep the bullets for the next season … I think, overall … nice little content drop. The big one is coming in 6 days
-
@fellspointguy_MLBTS They could have just given us 1 core 99 from finishing the lightning collection. Instead there’s no reward for finishing the latest drop.
-
We got some choice packs today which was great in the map and some of the core ones too
-
There are new rewards for collecting season 2 cards, 2 chase packs and a vault pack so they did that without telling us
-
I was thinking of saving this Dog CQ map for Season 3 for the XP boosts.....

They'll probably do like they did with the Lou Gehrig program at the end of season 1 and drastically reduce the xp

Its the first conquest map since TA 2.3, and it has good rewards. The legend pack is actually useful for a lot of people as it has a 90 core and is the first time they have given one for free. extra drop pack in SA. Two free chase packs for most people
This is as good as, if not better than, any drop all of this TA cycle even if the SA cards themselves arent exciting.

I def agree I will fall a few cards short of 300 myself but I like having these free core cards too so no complaints
My luck though my guaranteed headliner was Murray for the 4th time

Oh man is that why the Core cards are so cheap? Because I literally just bought the remaining 3 cards that I needed to complete that collection, had no idea that pack is in the map

Yeah legend pack + barrier breaker pack both from teams close to start (I forget which)
-
OK thanks for the info, are they sellable?
-
Loved today’s drop. Some great cards plus a fire map

I thought they would also do a 2nd CORE collection like they did last year w the 99 Kiju Seager for collecting X amounts of CORE cards. Releasing the Banks card now makes me think they may only have the 91 Vlad core collection this year
