Suggestion for Ranked

I think since they can choose the pitcher, we should be able to see if we are facing a lefty or a righty. I think it would be fair because it would really help set up a line up. I don't even care if I know who it is, but knowing if what side they thrown on would help.
Why should it be implemented? This is what happens in real baseball, you actually know who is throwing and get to set up the lineup however you want since you know who is throwing.. just a suggestion.

And then we get 2016 backing out if they don't get the matchup they like. There is a reason it was taken out. It's good in theory, horrible in practice.

I remember this and the fix to is to add another loading phase to start of the game where both players get to set their lineups for 30 sec to a min. similar to a operator selection in other games. This gives what op is asking for and no option to back out without fq or outright quitting

This is a great idea! Being able to set the lineup after the game loads, and backing out results in a loss.

If they could make it so you can't back out after starting up a game then I'd be all for it. But like eatyum said, people would just back out if they see their facing a lefty.
My idea is this: Be able to make two different lineups using the same 25 man roster. One for lefties and one for righties. Whichever pitcher you're facing, the appropriate lineup will generate

Just let us see R or L, not the name of the pitcher. Or better yet, one locked roster with one lineup for RHP and one for LHP. Back out and take a loss.
