You're right, it's not. However, you can make it as difficult as online by adjusting the sliders. I increase the velocity of fb and lower change up velocity.

You're right, it's not. However, you can make it as difficult as online by adjusting the sliders. I increase the velocity of fb and lower change up velocity.
But it will still be smooth. You cannot replicate the lag.

For myself, even if I slide the sliders max to the right and set it on legend the pitch speeds still won't reach even those of hof in online games.
What is even worse though, the pitch speeds vary A LOT from game to game even on the same difficulty based on connection.

But it will still be smooth. You cannot replicate the lag.
It's the smoothness factor that I think is making the biggest difference in custom practice. I can identify and react quicker because there is no lag. Hitting, as you put it, is more smooth.
