In the long run, if SDS wants the multi-seasons format to thrive it has to do much more than repeat the same online and offline options for each season.

SDS needs to innovate and provide new and different programs for each season to give them a unique personality. Some may work well and others not, but SDS needs to mix things up over time. I have seen many postings on this forum for quality new programs that can be incorporated into the game.

I am willing to give Seasons an opportunity but recycling the same online and offline programs is going to quickly sour and makes SDS look lazy.

I doubt Seasons will last. Too many people are getting tired of their cards being expired from RS competitive play. They tried something like this in '14 and it was not popular. Consequently, in '15, they went to an "Innings" format in order to support a power creep format.

'23 style seasons (could use prior season as well) with a year long power creep would work.

Seasons would be more of a way to apply themes to each block of cards, which is something that 23 sort of did but 24 has not. 24s cards are an unfocused mess and thats a very large part of 24's issues

The only issue with an Innings based program and a year long power creep is that people complained that it took to long to get a 99 Griffey, example, and by the time one was available those players already stopped playing.

They may be able to do an Innings based program, with a yearly power creep, if they released one 99 per Inning.

Sorry Firefly. That would require a thing called effort. With their current format they can work on the game for 2 days drop boring content on Friday. Take 4 day weekend.

Sets and seasons doesn't work for a game that gets rereleased every single year. If you're forced to pay full price year after year then your cards should only rotate yearly.

Loving it because it keeps the game so fresh and makes me want to play as much as possible.

You being bored of a game is not an acceptable reason for my cards, that I have earned, being expired.
