Lose of power for no reason

Why does my road to the show player lose power for no reason? My guy will go two or three weeks at a time without being able to hit any home runs. I just had a full count and the pitcher threw a fastball right down the middle and I had good timing and good contact with a power swing and I flew out to regular centerfield. Not even the warning track.

Thats what they call a "slump".

There are hundreds of real world MLB players who hope they only go two to three weeks between homers! Hitting two a week is about enough to lead the league in homers. Depending upon your difficulty settings, what you report is entirely reasonable.
