Difficulty

I'm new to mlb and whenever I'm batting I'm on rookie. It seems like if I don't make a hit its a foul ball almost everytime and the pitcher rarely gets a strike. Do I need to put the difficulty up or is foul balls just a problem no matter the difficulty setting?

@Tel842063_XBL The pitches are slower in rookie so if you are early on them and are pulling them foul then going up to veteran may help. Rookie seems to throw a lot of pitches out of the zone compared to other difficulties. I find I hit a lot better on All Star then on the two lesser levels.
