In my opinion, Not really.

Nothing exciting except the promise that things will progress quicker with more XP to be had for finishing Mini Seasons and Team Affinity.

Here's how it went for me.

Cool Bob Gibson, but he is a Collection reward so just like Brock last season I probably will never earn him. So much for using Cardinal Legends.

Log into the game - Only 30K for my 3 head start tasks so I got some grinding to do for my first wild card.

Did they specifically say they've increased in game XP payouts from games vs cpu?

Did not mention it that I recall. I think you can expect it to stay the same along with the XP cap. Most of the XP gains seemed to be mentioned as part of modes or programs. Min Seasons was upped to 60K to complete and and I think they said completing all TA division would also net you 60K which was apparently an upgrade.

last season TA was 30 * 750 = 22500, so nearly triple. Still feels too small.
