What's with the gold card on your bench? Otherwise it looks alot like my lineup except for the Wade Boggs card I haven't tried him yet

Corbin Carroll? He has 99 speed and 99 steal. I have three of those on the bench for conquest games and one extra catcher for when I need to pinch run for him (to put him in off the bench after a pinch runner has done their job). I hit well with Corbin Carroll, so that is why I have that card on my bench. If they had a 99 of him, I would use that.

@dmc04005_PSN Some times it is easy just to steal 2nd and 3rd and score on a ground out in the first inning so you don't have to run into that one time the veteran AI gets lucky.

With my skill level, anything on HOF or Legend will usually go into extra innings - sometimes with AS too. If the game is tied and I get a runner on, I steal 2B and then 3B. Then, when I get a fly ball or a hit, I have broken the tie. Then I bring in a closer I have confidence in and finish the game. At 62 years old (and other health issues), my reflexes aren't the best, so I don't have the skill level of you young bucks.

I play offline only, but was using LS Elly when he was a Silver for the same reason, earlier until the better 94 came along.
I hate grounding into double plays. The game sometimes set you up for them. -
Even when your guy has 99 speed he grounds into a double play which is annoying

Not if you have the guy on first steal 2B. If your guy on 1B isn't fast enough to steal, pinch run for him and then take 2B. Take 3B while you're at it too.

First thing that came to my mind was your strategy on the Xtreme conquest-map last year. To me it was pretty clear from the get go why you have Rickey and Corbin on your bench

@sbchamps17_NSW I hit well with Boggs, so for me, it's a great card. His defense is pretty solid too. You should give him a shot in a CPU game before taking him into conquest. You may like him too.

I might just try him out in conquest or mini seasons just because I'm not a big fan of the CPU 9 inning games because for me they take too long to play

i cant get that Buxton card going , ive given it more than enough chance ,ive tried him in every spot in the line up , at one point he was below the mendoza line , and thats pathetic for a 99 player

@hoo_pharted_PSN - that surprises me. In a recent CPU game, he went 7-7 with 8 RBIs. He hit 5 HRs and had 2 SB. He has been a solid card for me in conquest games too. He did get caught stealing 3B in one game though.
