How fuckin stupid are they to place a 99 version of him in a pack? Don’t care if pack content is planned before the game drops that is just inexcusable

@doobiebross66-72 I'm as sour as anyone else about SDS's shift towards monetization, but it's not a good look to complain about it while touting an EA game. I don't know if CFB will have the same predatory [censored] but EA is one of the prime offenders in this genre.
I don't mean any offense btw, just an observation.

@Skarmaen Uhhhh bro I'd advertise Halo on these forums over MLB The Show 24. EA is about ROCK SDS in sales this year. SDS is about to get mega desperate. Get ready for free packs and XP.
All games are being run to the ground with paywalled content and battle passes. That's just the way life is now in gaming. If you want to avoid that you need to get a PC and play indie games. -

Oh no offense taken I totally get where you’re coming from
I’m well aware of the reputation EA has garnered over the past years. I fully expect there to be tons of microtransaction opportunities but I was always a Dynasty and Road to Glory player in NCAA which shouldn’t be subject to that
I’ll dabble with the ultimate team mode (assuming there is one) as I never tried any ultimate team mode in NCAA before
Still it will be a massive breath of fresh air from the dumpster fire that is MLB The Pack Store 24

hope y’all enjoy the remainder of 24Everyone has their breaking point. I am willing to continue at my current pace, which is one that makes a snail pace seem like Lou Brock, and then see what happens at the beginning of Season 2.
I am not even sure if I am motivated enough to play today (Ryan Ludwick) unless one of the cards that have not been shown is a Cardinal, but even then that means it would be a card stuck behind either a pack or an online program.

Haven’t played the game in like two weeks and probably won’t play the game again but still noticed that all the TA cards are less desirable 99’s than the ones in packs. All the guys you would want to play with are in packs.

Worse still that card wasn't even usable on most teams by the time ppl got it. Smh
