Unbelievable win-loss records

@AdeptOfMemory it is also very odd that so many players have triple digit wins and ZERO losses. That's almost unheard of in any competitive video game. How does that even happen? How do these extremely good players never play each other to get that loss?
-
Honestly, does it matter? Not like all these wins are getting them anything special reward-wise (cards or stubs)
-
@aaronjw76 I mean yeah wins are what gets you the XP and rewards in general. There is a daily cap so yeah you're mostly right. I think it's about trying to figure out how such a thing is possible considering these players MUST face each other at some point so how does neither of them lose to one another? It's also just so odd to see such staggering records. It's very fair to ask why and how it's happening.
-
They play me 53 times?
-
I wasn't born yesterday. They are cheating, just like no one believed players were taking steroids . They are cheating, with so many speed variations , locations they always win ? Even against other good players ? Common now.
Are they cyborgs? Exact precision every game both pitching and hitting , what about when their best pitcher has no energy ? -
I can only offer my experience…About 2 years ago I made WS and decided to go for 1000 rating…Well second match after hitting WS i got matched up with someone who had one of these insane records like you described. Well this guy absolutely destroys me. This is legend difficulty and this guy put up 17 runs in 4 innings & mercied me 17-4. I sat there in awe - Usually on legend most games are 1-0, 2-1, ect because it’s incredibly hard to hit on legend online. This guy was a unicorn crushing anything I put in the strike zone and laying off everything outside. I played Pitching Rebel…He didn’t cheat, He was just THAT GOOD. I understand why you think it’s impossible to have records like that but trust me - The top 1% of the top 1% are just special man.
-
@IrishFist412 pitching rebel loses though. These guys mentioned haven’t. That’s the point.
-
Watch some of these legend players play a game when they live stream.
They are that good.
Now, does it mean the specific ones you’re mentioning aren’t cheating? Who knows. I’d like to think SDS have some sort of detection of this, but I don’t know.

@JDHalfrack the biggest ones I've seen are the stadium glitchers, freezers from balks, and the timing modders. You can modify controllers and the game to effectively give you perfect timing similarly to how FPS hacks allow precise timing on trigger pulls.
It's possible and I'm not being difficult or silly when I say it's very likely to have so many because of how much the devs deliberately ignore gameplay issues and bugs. Honestly, I don't think the care because it doesn't effect their bottom dollar and ability to sell packs or stubs.
I do believe there's a lot of cheaters in the top ranks. Just as many if not more than in the lower ranks.
If your devs don't give a [censored] about the game it's easier to mod and hack.I'm NOT saying this is 100% and I would die on this hill in just saying it's rather probable of a case for this game.
-
@JDHalfrack it's also not as popular or funded as a game like CoD or Siege. And if you've played dead games before hacking is VERY prevalent. Ask any dedicated Division player. My God that game was the WORST. Devs didn't give two shits forever about the hacking problem.
-
Not top players with smush accounts lol that would never happen eye roll…
-
@jaychvz Haven't you heard? Top guys are snorting Adderall 15 minutes before warmups. SDS better start drug testing these guys.
-
Some of these players also block any user that is high in the leaderboard making sure they never play them.
-
It’s probably because the matchmaking in this game is dogshit and they get matched with me. (Someone who can’t win unless my opponent dc’s)
Which is probably a product of less people playing the game overall, because it’s dogshit.
I wish I wasn’t addicted to collecting things (in this case, cards) because I’d just quit.
-
@hollywood3183 Yeah I agree. Thankfully you can get most good stuff just playing. But the matchmaking is terrible. I turned off crossplay and that helped a bit. Xbox has a huge advantage over ps5 I personally feel (I'm on a ps5). I also am on wifi and I heard that is bad. I at least have a 120 hz monitor with gaming mode though. That helped a bunch switching from my big tv to the smaller faster monitor.

The last two weeks have been by a very large margin the fastest matchmaking in the last 2 years. Instant matches in BR or ranked, at all times. I don't think I had ever seen an instant match before then.

Been getting them too, even in co-op

The fact that people are finding opponents in seconds with crossplay off, would indicate there are a lot of people playing. And when you talk about matchmaking, are you talking about ranked?

Sniffle, well said, Agent. Seriously both the Division games were AMAZING until hacking took over the DZ...

Tinfoil hat is all the way on.
